Many years ago I set out upon this world with a dream of power, glory, and happiness. I quickly learned that unless you achieve greatness through dumb luck, it takes lots and lots of work, personal responsibility, and long hours - none of which I enjoy. I also picked up on other basic life lessons such as: the higher the career ladder you climb, the greater the fall - when it comes to emotions what comes up, must go down - and - being famous is a big pain in the ass. After digesting these lessons I have re-set out upon the world with a new dream* of a moderate paying job, lack of boredom, and contentment.
* Rights to continue original dream at any time reserved.
I was born almost 30 years ago on moderately temperate Long Island, and grew up in (and continue to live near) Huntington, New York. After many years of creating and forming a personality and basic personal interests, I went to Binghamton University and its non-award winning computer science program. All hail the mighty alma mater whose web project progeny you read today! After a breath-taking college career I went on to pursue cash/money at Computer Associates
, a company who creates business products that you probably have never heard of. Currently I'm a 2nd level support drone, though in my many years at CA I have racked up other jobs such as: call center operator. first line support technician (go ARCserve!). Development. Marketing (Running my divisions part of the annual convention). Quality Assurance. Show me the money!!!!!
Oh yeah. And I got married to some chick I met in college. I posted my honeymoon itinerary, but if you want other details don't look here. She can put up her own web site. This page is about me!
I'm interested in computers, books, astronomy (I already have a large section of my website devoted to this),
and my not so secret passion: history . I also like gaming...
I used to play the big CCG's Magic and Star Wars - but my main interest is Euro/German style gaming - and I have amassed a bit of a collection, listed at the boardgamegeek.
Of course I also have other interests such as computer RPG's and Strategy games, DVD's (here is a list of dvd titles
I own), and skiing. I suppose since I'm listing impersonal facts, I can mention other obvious things like I enjoy such as listening to music. What music? Who cares! What - oh YOU care? OK - how about The Police, Beck, Radiohead, Jimmy Eat World, and Cake. Um... And I like watching TV too - oh. You seem bored. I'll just move this page along then to people who have lives you might actually care to read about.
OK. So who exactly do you associate yourself with (and we can only assume they don't associate themselves with you)?
Whoa - calm down. No reason to be insulting! Here are some Websites of my Friends and/or Acquaintances
This is
Lori Colman's homepage - Spanish Translator extraordinaire
Ian Kezsbom (Fuzzbom Studio's) - Future Hollywood Production Megacompany.
The Jon and Al Kaplan Page. Jon used to room with Ian. They are also the musical team behind Silence! Silence of the Lambs: The Musical.
Kristen Toedtman's (fellow alumni of HHS) personal chronicles.
Jody William Smith - an excellent singer/songwriter. Go out there and pick up a copy of his new album, Travel.
Blogs o' Friends
April Koich's Blog. I think she stole the whole idea of putting frank discussions of her personal life from me.
Joel Richman's pathetic attempt to document his work life.
Tina Prout's new blog - seems fairly active...so far.
Fine. Here are some links back to my own website. Didn't think you'd get off that easily, did you?
