A friend and I went hiking on Diamond Head Crater. There are a total of 24 pictures taken while on top of Diamond Head on page 1 and page 2. Enjoy

Little bit of info.

Diamond Head is a volcano that has been extinct for 150,000 years and was formed around 200,00 years ago by violent steam explosions. The ancient Hawaiians called the extinct volcanic crater Lea’hi. It means "brow of the tuna". It received its famous nickname from British sailors in the mid 1820's after they had mistaken worthless calcite deposits for diamonds. It is more than just a centerpiece for the south shore. It is the most identifiable landmark in Hawaii. The crater is 3,520 feet in diameter with a 760-foot summit. The trail leading to the top is about three and three-fourths miles long.
