THE STRONG
Priests of LywillerinLywillerin Darkstar is the Moorish god of Strength, Perseverence and Retribution. He is the patron of warriors, the commonfolk and those for whom revenge against a great wrong is desired. Also known as The Dark Avenger, The Lord Darkstar and other names, his priests reflect a lifelong devotion to physical fitness and service to the public. The Church of Lywillerin is well liked by commonfolk, who often turn to its priests for healing and assistance.

Spells: Access to 2nd level divine spells.
Feats: Toughness.

Attack bonus, hit points, skills and regular feats remain the unchanged. Otherwise, treat all Priest of Lywillerin levels as fighter.CLASS SKILLS
The Priest of Lywillerin’s class skills (and the key ability for each skill) are Climb (Str), Concentration (Con), Craft (Int), Diplomacy (Cha), Handle Animal (Cha), Heal (Wis), Jump (Str), Knowledge (arcana) (Int), Knowledge (Moorish Religion) (Int), Meditation (Wis), Profession (Wis), Scry (Int, exclusive skill), Spellcraft (Int), and Swim (Str). See Chapter 4: Skills, PH for skill descriptions. See Chapter 4: Skills, Skylis for a description of Meditation.
Skill Points at Each Level: 2 + Int modifier.
CLASS FEATURES
The following are the class features of the Priest of Lywillerin Prestige class.
Weapon and Armor Proficiency: The Priest of Lywillerin is proficient in the use of the morning star, which is the favoured weapon of this deity (see page 31, PH). He is also proficient in the use of all blunt weapons and all non-metal armor, and non-metal shields. Please see Class Limitations for more information.
Spells (Sp): Once a Cleric of Lywillerin becomes a Priest of Lywillerin, she may continue to cast divine spells without interruption. Thus, when a Priest of Lywillerin gains a new level, she gains new spells/day and spells known as if she had gained a level in a divine spellcasting class she belonged to before adding the prestige class. She does not, however, gain any other benefit a character of that class would have gained. Before becoming a Priest of Lywillerin she must decide on which class to add spellcasting abilities to. This overall spell level is used to calculate spellcaster level for spell effects, damage, etc. Otherwise the rules remain the same as those for the Cleric (see page 31, PH), except where noted.
Deity, Domains and Domain Spells: A Priest does not gain domain spells, nor domain granted powers, and looses such abilities from previous classes. Access to spells is as follows. The Priest has access to all spells in a Greater domain, access to spells up to and including 4th level in a Lesser domain, and no access to Banned domains. If a spell shares more than one domain, Greater domains supercede Lesser domains which supercede Banned domains in terms of accessibility.
Greater Domains: Earth, Healing, Protection, Strength, and Sun.
Lesser Domains: Animal, Fire, Knowledge, Law, and Water.
Banned Domains: Air, Chaos, Death, Destruction, Good, Luck, Magic, Plant, Travel, Trickery, and War.
Spontaneous Casting: Priests of Lywillerin may use this ability as though they were a good cleric.
Turn Undead (Sp): A Priest of Lywillerin can turn undead a number of times per day equal to one plus his Charisma modifier. (See Turn and Rebuke Undead, page 139, PH.)
Blessing of Strength (Su): The Blessing of Strength may be used 3 times/day and once/battle, and lasts the duration of the battle. This is a free action, and requires the allies to hear, if not necessarily understand, the Priest. Priests of Lywillerin do not, themselves, receive the benefits of a Blessing of Strength, whether it is their own, or that of another Priest. When it is sounded, a d100 is rolled and the following table is consulted.
BLESSING OF STRENGTH RESULTS d100 Roll Result 01-90 +1 divine bonus to attack and damage rolls for the Priest’s allies 91-99 +2 divine bonus to attack and damage rolls for the Priest’s allies 00 Special result, the priest has gained the attention of Lywillerin himself. Blessing of the Kindred (Sp): Allows the Priest to Charm oxen, cattle, and constrictors. This works very much like the Charm Animal spell, except that the duration is 1-4 weeks, extends to any who display the Darkstar symbol, and allows any Priest to relay simple commands such as Stay, Attack or Go. This is an innate spell-like ability which requires a single action.
Gift of Vitality: At 1st level, the Strength score is increased by 1.
Gift of Endurance: Priests of Lywillerin gain the bonus Feat of Endurance.
Gift of Strength (Sp): The Gift of Strength can be conferred upon any willing person, other than Priests of Lywillerin and is a sign that one is ready to be fully ordained as a Priest of Lywillerin (The title of Father or Mother). This touch temporarily increases the recipient’s Strength score by an amount dependant on the Priest’s level. See the class table for details. The effect of the Gift of Strength lasts for 2 rounds/level of the Priest. Physical contact must be made to confer this divine bonus. Activation of this spell-like effect is a partial action. The Priest may choose to confer a lesser bonus than their listed maximum, and also may choose a lesser duration.
Gift of Health (Ex): At 3rd level, the Priest of Lywillerin becomes immune to all natural disease and resistant to magical disease. When saving against magical disease, he receives +5 to their Fortitude score.
Gift of Nourishment (Sp): At 5th level the Gift of Nourishment is gained, and usually signifies the imminent ordaining of the Priest as one of The Strong (The title and rank of Strongmother or Strongfather). The Gift of Nourishment can be conferred upon any creature or person including, although rarely, the Priest herself. This requires physical contact, and a full round action. The recipient is completely healed of all normal damage and is given enough sustenance to survive comfortably without food, water or rest until the next sunset (or up to 24 hours, whichever is first). When the duration has ended, the recipient then begins to tire and grow hungry at a normal rate, as though they had just had complete rest and a full meal. Although the effect restores all hit points and neutralizes poisons, it does not remove disease, afflictions, magical curses such as blindness, or hit points lost due to Constitution damage. The Gift of Nourishment can be used once per week for every five levels of the Prestige Class.
Gift of Fortitude (Ex): At 7th level the Gift of Fortitude is gained. This gift bestows upon the Priest a great resistance to harm and normal physical damage, giving them Damage Reduction 1/+5.
Gift of Firm Hands (Ex): With the Gift of Firm Hands, the Priest of Lywillerin is so skilled at focusing her strength, that she gains a bonus of +1 to damage for each successful attack with a melee weapon. Moreover, when attacking with bar hands, she gains a bonus of +2 to damage for each successful attack. The definition of 'bare' is a hand without covering (glove or gauntlet) or adornment (ring or band). This bonus does not apply against any creature that is immune to critical hits. The Rite of Stone cannot be properly completed without this Gift, however, the Gift is not granted until the Rite is taken. Those Priests who complete this Rite are usually promoted to the rank of Dispenserate.
Gift of Might: At 11th level, the Strength score is increased by 1.
Gift of Dark Starlight (Su): At 13th level, a Priest of Lywillerin gains the power to invoke Dark Starlight once per week. Centered on Priest, he and his allies within 50’ see as though it were twilight within the radius, regardless of normal or magical light conditions. All enemies within radius see only darkness, and are effectively blinded, regardless of darkvision or other abilities. All undead within the radius see only bright, white light, are effectively blinded and affected by sunlight, regardless of other vision abilities or prevailing light conditions. Activation of Dark Starlight requires a partial action.
Gift of Pure Health (Ex): At 15th level, the Priest of Lywillerin becomes immune to all forms of normal and magical disease, energy drain, paralysis, poison, stunning, strength and constitution damage or subdual damage.
Gift of Great Fortitude (Ex): At 17th level the Gift of Great Fortitude is gained. This gift bestows upon the Priest a great resistance to harm and normal physical damage, giving them Damage Reduction 2/+5.
Gift of Great Might: At 19th level, the Strength score is increased by 1.Hit Die: d8.

NOTES ON SPELLS
Healing Spells: The Strong gain +1/die, not exceeding the normal maximum of the die.
Lywillerin's Grasping Hand/Clenched Fist/Crushing Hand: These spells match the descriptions of the corresponding "Bigby's" spells (PHB).
Summon Minor/Lesser/Greater Servant: To be detailed later. Are never to be used without proper reason. The matter must be of great importance for the Church itself, such as the defense of holy sites. It is also considered sacrilege to employ these spells in order to make a difficult task, which could be accomplished with sacrifice, any easier.
True Resurrection: The Church only uses this spell in special circumstances, where the need is extraordinary and the elders have gained the approval of Lywillerin. Otherwise, it does not believe in upsetting the balance of divine judgement. The following class limitations and responsibilities must be observed by the Priest of Lywillerin. Failure to do so may result in temporary or permanent loss of class features and granted powers.
Trials of Acceptability: The Trials of Acceptability will determine if an Acolyte possesses the necessary qualities required to become a Priest of Lywillerin (or regain their abilities after losing them). Failure to possess these qualities will result in a recommendation to serve Lywillerin in an alternate manner.
The Regimen of The Strong: The Regimen of the Strong includes the the Vows of Solemnity (do not apply the terms Help, Need, Aid, or Assistance to one's self or to Lywillerin), the Vow of Charity (donate 75% of treasure to the needy, never accept charity), and the Vow of Moderation (no excessive eating or drinking). The Regimen also demands that Priests exercise, meditate and pray daily. The Sacrament of Gratitude, performed in whichever manner, signifies the return of any 'weekly' abilities. It is ineffectual when performed earlier than seven days apart, and should preferably be performed at sunrise or sunset. Further information on the rites and observances of the church can be found [here].
Armament: Priests of Lywillerin may neither wear metal armour nor use shields. Nor can they use bladed weapons, or missile weapons. As the Priest rises in level, he is permitted to own and use less weapons.
