FEAT DESCRIPTIONS : MARTIAL ARTS

Feat Name: [Feat Class; Prerequisites] Feat Description and benefits. (Source, if any)

Akani Armour: [General; Busho Akani Modifier +10 or higher, Base attack bonus +25] After sufficient years of study in Busho Akani you become an Akani Master, fully able (and more importantly permitted) to teach the secrets of martial magic. As well, you attain the ability to deflect blows with the same power that allows you to attack with your mind. When attacked, you may make a Will Save where the DC equals the total of the attack roll, to completely avoid being hit. This Akani Armour only works when you aware of the foe who is attacking. It cannot be used in a situation where you are flat-footed.

Brawling: [General; Bluff 10 or more ranks, Streetfighting, Base attack bonus +10] You are well-versed in the rugged, informal martial art of Streetfighting (see the Feat listed in this section), and are now skilled at taking advantage of the enemy when he is off-guard. You can use Streetfighting as an Attack of Opportunity when one presents itself. You may choose any attack form on the table, instead of the normal rules, and your attack is made at a +2 bonus in addition to your base attack bonus, and also deals +2 points of damage.

Busho Akani: [General; Wis 13+, Concentration 2 or more ranks, Combat Reflexes, Must be trained by a Master.] You are trained in the art of Busho Akani, better known as martial-magic. In Busho Akani, one focuses the mind, through a series of practiced martial gestures and mental processes, to cause injury to an opponent without actually touching them. For a more complete description, see Chapter 8: Combat, Busho Akani. Special: The Pit Gladiator can take this feat to increase their class skill of Busho Akani. All BA Modifiers stack with each other.

Ikaro: [General; Concentration 2 or more ranks, Combat Reflexes, Improved Unarmed Strike] You are practiced in the fairly common martial art of Ikaro, which is primarily focused on delivering strong kicks and punches. For a more complete description, see Chapter 8-1: Combat, Skylis Rules. During combat, you can substitute any or all of your normal attacks for an Ikaro attack. This is treated as an attack roll, and the table is consulted. You may then alter the attack form by a number of selections equal to your Dexterity bonus. To gain this feat, you must be taught by an Ikaro master (someone with the Ikaro Mastery Feat).

Ikaro Expertise: [General; Dex 13+, Concentration 10 or more ranks, Ikaro, Lightning Reflexes] You are well-versed in the martial art of Ikaro (see above), and are now capable of delivering powerful attacks when the enemy is momentarily defenseless. When you are using Ikaro as an Attack of Opportunity, you may choose any attack form on the table, instead of the normal rules, and your attack is made at a +4 bonus in addition to your base attack bonus.

Ikaro Mastery: [General; Wis 16+, Ikaro Expertise, Base attack bonus +10] You have become a master of the martial art of Ikaro (see above), and are now capable of teaching it to others. Also, you receive a +2 bonus to damage when using the martial art. Furthermore, when you are using the Ikaro attack, you may choose any attack form on the table, instead of the normal rules.

Siveransh: [General; Wis 13+, Concentration 4 or more ranks, Combat Reflexes, Improved Unarmed Strike] You are practiced in the elven martial art of Siveransh, which uses a deceptive flowing motion to deliver strong, precise punches and kicks. For a more complete description, see Chapter 8-1: Combat, Skylis Rules. During combat, you can substitute any or all of your normal attacks for a Siveransh attack. This is treated as an attack roll, and the table is consulted. You may then alter the attack form by a number of selections equal to your Dexterity bonus. To gain this feat, you must be taught by a Siveransh master (someone with the Siveransh Mastery Feat).

Siveransh Expertise: [General; Meditation 10 or more ranks, Siveransh, Base attack bonus +10] You are well-versed in the martial art of Siveransh (see above), and are now capable of delivering powerful attacks when the enemy is momentarily defenseless. When you are using Siveransh as an Attack of Opportunity, you may choose any attack form on the table, instead of the normal rules, and your attack is made at a +4 bonus in addition to your base attack bonus.

Siveransh Mastery: [General; Wis 16+, Siveransh Expertise, Base attack bonus +15] You have become a master of the martial art of Siveransh (see above), and are now capable of teaching it to others. Also, you receive a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls when using the martial art. Furthermore, when you are using the Siveransh attack, you may choose any attack form on the table, instead of the normal rules.

Streetfighting: [General; Bluff 4 or more ranks, Improved Feint, Improved Unarmed Strike] You are adept at the informal martial art of Streetfighting, which is an 'anything-goes' manner of punching, kicking, grabbing, shamming and dirty tricks combat. For a more complete description, see Chapter 8: Combat, Streetfighting. During combat, you can substitute any or all of your normal attacks for a Streetfighting attack. This is treated as an attack roll, and the table is consulted. You may then alter the attack form by a number of selections equal to your Dexterity bonus. This feat is most often learned on the streets of a large settlement, where it is common to find secret or even illegal societies of pugilists, bare-fisted fighters and the like, not to mention gangs of thugs and brigands.

Tenishido Ki: [General; Concentration 4 or more ranks, Expertise, Weapon Focus] You are practiced in the elaborate martial art of Tenishido, which is a group of specialized weapon arts. In Tenishido Ki, you must select a particular weapon to focus your study on (and one in which you have selected the Weapon Focus feat). A single weapon must be chosen from the following catagories: swords (any small or medium), polearms, maces, daggers & knives, axes, hammers, staves, jointed & chained staves, shuriken, chain weapons, whips and rope weapons. For example, you must specify whether it is a shortsword, longsword, rapier, etc. For a more complete description, see Chapter 8-1: Combat, Skylis Rules. During combat, you can substitute any or all of your normal attacks with a chosen weapon for a Tenishido Ki attack. This is treated as an attack roll, and the table is consulted. You may then alter the attack form by a number of selections equal to your Dexterity bonus. To gain this feat, you must be taught by an Tenishido Ki master (someone with the Tenishido Ki Mastery Feat). Special: You may take this feat multiple times but only for different weapons.

Tenishido Ki Expertise: [General; Dex 13+, Concentration 10 or more ranks, Tenishido Ki, Lightning Reflexes] You are well-versed in the martial art of Tenishido Ki (see above), and are now capable of delivering powerful attacks when the enemy is momentarily defenseless. When you are using Tenishido Ki as an Attack of Opportunity, you may choose any attack form on the table, instead of the normal rules, and your attack is made at a +2 bonus in addition to your base attack bonus. Special: You may take this feat multiple times but only for different weapons.

Tenishido Ki Focus: [General; Str 13+, Tenishido Ki Expertise, Base attack bonus +10] Your competence in the martial art of Tenishido Ki (see above) is now exemplary. When you are using Tenishido Ki as a standard attack or a full attack, you may choose to apply your Dexterity Bonus to the damage instead of your Strength Bonus. This cannot be done during Attacks of Opportunity. Special: This feat applies to all chosen Tenishido Ki Expertise weapons.

Tenishido Ki Mastery: [General; Wis 16+, Tenishido Ki Expertise, Base attack bonus +15] You have become a master of the martial art of Tenishido Ki (see above), and are now capable of teaching it to others. Also, you receive a +1 bonus to attack rolls when using the martial art. Furthermore, when you are using the Tenishido Ki (or Tenishido Ki-Akani)attack, you may choose any attack form on the table, instead of the normal rules. Special: This feat applies to all chosen Tenishido Ki weapons.

Weipo: [General; Concentration 2 or more ranks, Combat Reflexes, Improved Unarmed Strike] You are practiced in the martial art of Weipo, which uses a combination of throws, punches and kicks. For a more complete description, see Chapter 8-1: Combat, Skylis Rules. During combat, you can substitute any or all of your normal attacks for a Weipo attack. This is treated as an attack roll, and the table is consulted. You may then alter the attack form by a number of selections equal to your Dexterity bonus.
