Marver's Revealing Dust.

PRICE: 6,000 gold pieces

This fabulous dust is kept in three tiny jars. The jars are made from sturdy, thick glass, and were fashioned by the reknown glassmakers of Tarn. Each jar is capped by a steel lid, held in place by a modern screw thread mechanism. The jars themselves are held in a handsome, plush velvet satchel with three form-fitted pockets. After the dust has been used, the jars themselves are wonderful devices you could use to store whatever you need. The dust itself appears as simple, light brown, fine grains, and is otherwise normal in appearance.

However, as some of you will know, Marver's Revealing Dust is anything but normal. Invented by the Master Marver, father of the art of bestowing, this dust is a direct duplication of his formula. Made by Enix, a Master Bestower himself, it is of the highest quality. Despite the crimes of its maker, we assure you that the dust itself is completely legal and its usage is approved by most, if not all, countries. Otherwise, we cannot tell you any more about the creation of the dust, as it remains a closely guarded secret among the community of Bestowers.

When the dust is thrown into the air, it usually disperses into a visible cloud 80 hands wide. Anything that comes into contact with this cloud, before the dust settles, that is enchanted or illusionary, begins to glow with a soft blue light. The glowing light is entirely harmless, but serves to distinguish these things from those that are normal. The glow will last up to ten minutes after the object is no longer in contact with the cloud. While the portion of dust used can be varied in many ways, there are recommended guidelines. If one pinch is thrown, the resulting cloud will last for approximately one minute. This duration is cumulative to the number of pinches. However, if five pinches are used, the duration is ten minutes. Anything more than five pinches is redundant, as the duration cannot exceed ten minutes. These durations are modified by prevailing wind conditions. As well, the pinches can be used to sprinkle directly upon objects. At least one pinch must be used at a time. There are five pinches in each full jar.

The dust cloud is not harmful to creatures, although if any dust is inhaled, it is recommended the individual drink at least one glass of water. Any dust in the eye should likewise be flushed out with warm water. Please keep out of reach of children.
