Colm the Snake, Dead!

Ilenbury, Le Royaumme du le Forestaine,
9/991.

Listen, [because] I don't got a lot of time, but I saw Colm the Snake go down! I saw it with my own eyes. There I was, sitting on the porch of the One-Eyed Moose and he comes running out of the alley that's across the street. Behind him is this bruiser of a man, fair-skinned, I think, and probably human. This guy grabs Colm from behind and pushes his face into the road! Then he drags Colm back into the alley.

Well, at first, I sit tight. I mean, I ain't never messed with Colm, since his crew got a [reputation], you know what I mean? Anyway, nobody comes out of the alley for a while until I see one of the crew run out like there's a dragon chasing him. Then, nothing again. So I gets curious and take a peek. Well, I see four, maybe five of Colm's crew lying in the alley, all beat up and confused, and I see Colm himself, propped up against a crate. And his neck's all strange - all dark and bruised, real limp and kind of long. It was [expletive deleted] broken! That guy, whoever he was, he broke Colm's neck! And I don't know if the guy had friends, but he did it in front of six of Colm's crew! [Expletive deleted], that's one tough garcon!

Anyway, I don't hang around long enough for the Greens to get there, you know. But since Colm went and got himself dead, I figure there's either a new wench-boss in town who's tougher than Colm, or somebody's out to do some real street-hero stuff. All I can say is, you better think twice about any racket in Ilenbury for the next while, or you might get your neck broke!

Sid.
