So far this games can only be played in Q-Basic but there are now converting it to 256 colours and the pictures sure do look good. The Alpha2 version of this game should be due out around March.
There are many things in this games future such as:
- It uses the new 256-color tileset, like the one displayed on the WebPage,
- It has a much larger map (450x120), over 7 times the size of the old maps.
- An ocean. Now when you buy a boat there are actually places to go! Many islands to explore.
- Dungeons and Towns have been programmed, and they are now graphical rather than text-based. You can walk around in them.
- A few quests have been programmed.
- Monsters actually rome around the map now. You can see them coming, and get away.
- Graphic-Scaling. When you cast a mapping spell, such as AERIAL SIGHT, you now get a "Zoomed Out" view of the map instead of just pixels.
- New Spells. To save time and to get the game out quicker, I've only added a couple. But more will come soon.
