1.1 Cheat Codes

To use a cheat, simply bring up the command console by pressing the tilda (~) key. This is usually in the top left hand corner of your keyboard, below the "Esc" key... Then type in the cheat code.

Code What It Does

GOD Makes you invulnerable

NOCLIP Toggles on/off. Allows you to pass through walls.

IMPULSE 9 Gives you a full set of weapons and mana

IMPULSE 14 Turns you into a sheep!

IMPULSE 25 Gives you the Tome Of Power

IMPULSE 35 Removes all monsters from the current level

IMPULSE 36 Stops all the monsters from moving

IMPULSE 37 Cancels the IMPULSE 36 cheat

IMPULSE 39 Lets you fly

IMPULSE 40 Increases your level by one

IMPULSE 43 Gives you all weapons, mana and items

IMPULSE 99 Restart the level

GIVE # Replace # with a number and this code will give you that numbered weapon.

GIVE h # Replace # with a number and this code will give you that many health points (up to 999).

SV_GRAVITY ### Type in a number instead of ### and this will set the amount of gravity on a level. 850 is the default. So to half the pull of gravity, type SV_GRAVITY 425. Reducing gravity allows you to jump higher and fall slower.

The midi music played in the demo of Hexen II can get, how shall I put it, irritating after a while. To turn it off, bring up the console by pressing the tilda key (~) and type midi_stop
