| LEVEL OF THE WEEK - Monday January 5th
NO NEW RELEASES SINCE Avatar's Demise |
Another great level from Travers Dunne. This one is truly impressive with some great design and atmospheric lighting. It's also fairly challenging without being totally impossible. Certainly well worth a look, this is a good way to start a new year for Heretic... | |
| 1 | The Keep | Some stunningly detailed buildings with great atmospheric lighting and enough monsters to keep even the most psychotic player happy. Better than Raven's original Heretic levels... |
| 2 | Avatar's Demise | Another great level from Travers Dunne. This one is truly impressive with some great design and atmospheric lighting. It's also fairly challenging without being totally impossible. Certainly well worth a look, this is a good way to start a new year for Heretic... |
| 3 | Heretic Cathedral
Michael Lundy |
Beautifully built and lit level set in and around a church. Based on a level from the Doom WAD "Eternity"... |
| 4 | Wizard's Revenge | A beautifully built D&D inspired level with some great lighting and architecture.
Oozes atmosphere. Better than many of the original Heretic levels. Damned impressive.

| 5 | Dungeon 1 | Nicely designed little level - atmospheric lighting and good attention to detail, but fairly easy. |
| 6 | Irvel's World | A trio of levels including the stunningly good-looking Graves of Thark. It's also hard. Very hard. Too hard? Maybe... Anyway, still well worth a look. |
| 7 | The Sewers | Nice looking watery level... |
| 8 | Wizard 4 | One of the classic 'Wizard' series, this level is brilliantly designed, fairly large, and pretty hard as well. Looks good, plays good. |
| 9 | The Subterranean River
Keith Phipps |
Amazing level with some great design and cool scenery. Mixture of underground tunnels and tightly confined open spaces with lakes, rivers and waterfalls. Claustrophobic. |
| 10 | Supplies | A huge and detailed village style level with some stunning settings and outdoor areas. |
Return to the Heretic World o' Hurtz.
