Turn 6 -- Missing Persons

After speaking with Garyld and leaving the prisoners with him you leave his shop and meet back in front of the Baron of Mutton Inn with the rest of the party to go inside and have a few drinks before setting out again.

The Baron of Mutton appears to be identical to any of a hundred taverns you all have stayed in your life, horse trough out front, common room inside with large fireplace and bar, sassy waitresses to serve the patrons and a big bouncer to throw any troublemakers out on their ears! Except today the Baron of Mutton is in total disarray! There are several men standing around one young man in particular, trying to calm him down. It appears that he is quite upset and keeps demanding that some type of search party be formed.

"Excuse us kind sirs, but may I inquire what the trouble might be," asks Talimar.

"Oh Tymora be praised, now these look like men of action!" exclaims the young man. "My love Jelenneth has been kidnapped! We must muster a search party right away and find her."

"Now wait just a minute here Andren," says an older man as he pushes past the young to introduce himself, "My name is Haldelar and I am the 'missing' girls father. My daughter is an apprentice to the wizard Tauster and I believe that she must have been summoned by him and..."

"If that were true then why did she leave that bag of stuff that she always has when she tries a spell? Plus she took off without leaving a note or saying good-bye or anything, and she never does that!"

"May we see the young ladies room?" asks Beleg.

Andren directs you to her room upstairs and says that it is now as it was found just a while ago. The door was unlocked and there is no sign of a struggle in the room. Andren bends down and pulls the bag of spell components from under the bed where they had been left behind. "Please, can you find my lost love and return her to me?!"
