Direct TCP/IP Play
Up to 8 players under Windows 95 TCP/IP multiplay.
Enhanced AI
The computer is smarter than ever! Base construction and management are the
smallest of the enhancements. New settings will allow the player to set the
difficulty of the opponent they want.
Enhanced Multiplay
New Internet head-to-head and 6 Player IPX multiplay. Improved chat interface
that allows for longer messages and more transmission of information to the
player. New setup options make starting a game even faster.
Improved Messaging
Messages will now be longer in multi-player games to allow easier
communication between your allies and your enemies.
Improved unit control
Complete control over air, land and sea. Formations control for those with
specific tactics in mind, and waypoint plotting for all those that want
units to get to their destination in a certain way.
Larger Maps
Maps are now at least twice as large compare with C&C.
Map Editor
Build-in Terrain Editor for custom multiplayer maps.
Multiplayer Save Games
For those long games that seem to be taking forever, you may now save it
and resume the game later.
New Crate Info
They can be found underwater and can increase unit speed and improve armor.
New Multiplayer Interface
The new interface reportedly allows for the transmission of new maps during
multiplayer setup.
New Screen Detail
Play in standard VGA under DOS or Super VGA under Windows 95 screen modes
with detailed graphics like Warcraft II.
New Structure Placement
Walls can only be built onto walls, structures have a 1 space range from each
other, and turrets can be built even farther from structures.
Skirmish Mode
Want a little practice? Take on one to five computer opponents in a solo
Multi-player game. You can also try ally with other computer and hopefully
they'll ally with you. It all depends on their current strength.
