Page update:
Here's the skinny: Geoguide is gone, maybe fix it, don't care much. More useless Geocities crap. Don't plan on doing the RPG, don't have the time, that's that. As for other updates and such with this page, I wish I could, but I simply don't play RPGs much at all any more. I can't seem to find people who play, so this page is not a big deal. I'll gladly play on IRC, but I think ICQ would be better. Leave me e-mail if you're interested. --End
Whew, just read through that from months ago, and let me tell you, while I was away from the Net, I did no looking into it at all. So, maybe one of these days I will, and I'll get it running, we'll see though. Just don't expect me to do it, I am somewhat busy with other things now.
Well a quick little tid-bit about the RPGs I play and we will get on to other things... I play AD&D(tm), Rifts(tm), Heroes Unlimited(tm) and that's mainly it. I also play MajorMUD (but that's not really an RPG) and Daggerfall (a game from Bethesda Softworks, click the link on the previous page...). Enough about me...
Ok a little more; if you're interested in gaming on IRC, send me e-mail saying so, I am always looking for players! By the way, if you're on EffNet, drop in #daggerfall or #ad&d and say hi to me.
About this page, I will add info and utilities I made, along with
characters from every game...eventually.
Another idea just struck me. How about
a miniature role-playing scenario? Say like um, you're in the shoes of some
character who is in a tight situation and you are given different choices
on how to resolve the situation, and such...Lemme know yay or nay.
Now here's an interesting game. Its a sci-fi game with lots of characters to choose from (24 plus the types added in seperate source books). I have not yet played it, but own a couple of the books...It does look rather fun, and I would especially be interested in playing this over IRC (more so than AD&D or HU). (Rifts and Heroes Unlimited are registered trademarks of Palladium Books Inc.) If you are interested in the game and have not played it, and would like more information on it, drop me an e-mail or check one of the links...
Also, about the setting of this particular RPG, its a bit of a contradiction (thus making it more interesting). It is futuristic, post-apocalyptic, with some MAJOR artillery. These weapons would shred a regular tank, even one of the weaker ones could. Ironically though, their technology in regards to other things (such as communications) is very limited. They lack space technology, thus no satellites, which means no communication across the world. It is very remniscent (in parts) to the Old West. Also, the land for the most part is under control (or will be soon) by a corrupt government set on controlling all of North America (or what remains) and the rest of the world wherever it can. Definately worth the time to check it out.
Heroes Unlimited is a "Super Hero" type RPG that plays very well (I like the Palladium system...) and can be lots of fun, as it is meant to be extravagant, like in the comic books. I have not played this nearly as many times as I have AD&D, but it definately is worth trying. The only problem there, is that only a few people still [seem to] play it, if you're interested in this too, drop me a line.
Well I bought the book for it, but I can't seem to get into it. I've heard lots of good things about it, but, &qoutMage: The Ascension" simply is not grabbing my interest. I think I will stick to Rifts and AD&D and HU when I can. Sorry White Wolf.

Menu Tool 2 This is a very simple dos-based program
that is set in a "menu" style. Things it does: random rolls (does a table of them),
skill checks (thieve's and other), perception checks, saving throw checks, and a
very basic character generator. (All meant for AD&D games.)
