Deployment advice..

A good initial deployment is vital to your chances of success, there is no point having a rock hard unit if they are out of the action. I tend to stick to Old Weirde's Oblique Line Tactic, invariably your opponent will put a weaker unit on his flank. Against this put a stronger one and watch his flank roll up as you go pounding along it. In my Army I have my Chariots and mounted units on the flank with the big blocks of Skeletons holding the centre and resolutely advancing and a holding force of Mummies and Wraiths on the other flank. Your fast units speed around the hinge this has created and pile into the enemy, by which time your Skeletons have caused enough havoc along with those Skull Chuckers to rout any body, that is the plan anyway...

A well placed piece of terrain on your weak flank can hold it just as well as the Mummies or Wraiths giving you an extra couple of units to play with in the centre of the line. If you have any other ideas feel free to mail me, I am always interested in new tactics for my army
