Grahpics: The graphics are done in high res, and the letterbox screen from the original Daytona is gone. The tracks are more detailed this time. The colors are a lot brighter, and the cars have a better overall look. The grass seems to be a bit different, not worse, just different, but good; and the same goes for the pavement. Now, I know you want to know if the pop up is is gone, right? Well, the pop up has been greatly reduced, even though it's still present, it didn't bother me at all.

Sound: If you like the music from the original Daytona, you'll be dissapointed. The music has been remixed and now sound more heavy metal. It's nice that you can choose the BGM for each track.

Gameplay: If this is your first time playing a Daytona game, you're going to love it right away, but if you're a fan of the first Daytona, you may feel a bit shocked at first. The handling of the cars is a bit different, but I found if to be good. It just takes a while to get used to the different handling, and if you have the analog pad, it greatly improves the control of the cars. Also, each car has a different feel, which gives the game a higher replay value. Now, the 2-player battle has more pop up, but if you can stand it, the battle is a blast.

Overall: This is one of the finest racing games out there for the Saturn, and if you just give the game a chance, you may find hours of enjoyment. Do yourself a favor and pick this game up along with the analog pad. You won't regret it.
