This section will teach
you how to read the status data in this game.
Unit
Data
HP - Hit
Points
EN - Energy (needed
for performing attacks)
EXP - Experience
Points needed to advance to the next Level
LV (MS only) - Level (Level
goes from 1 -> 2-> 3 -> ACE)
UA - Unit Attack
(higher UA means higher damage inflicted; affects damage inflicted by weapon)
UD - Unit Defence
(higher UD means less damage your enemies can inflict on
you)
MOVE - Movement
Points
Capacity (Ship
only) - Shows how many units a ship can
carry
Active Area (Ship only) - Shows
how large the ship's Active Area is
Land Effect
Diagram
- Shows which terrain (Space,
Sky, Land, Sea) this MS is best on.
Rated as Grades from D to
A.
(Note that some MS cannot move on
certain stages.
Example: The Neue Ziel can only
fight in Space)

Data, simply press Left on the D-pad to switch screens
Weapon Data
Range - The distance from your target where you can use this
weapon
AP - Attack Power
(The attack strength of this weapon; measured in relative terms to the others)
EN - The amount of EN needed to
use this weapon
MP - The amount of
MP (pilot) needed to use this weapon. (These are usually psychomu
weapons)
Weapon Type
- These are the
words you see in the column between the weapon's name and its
range.
(For example, in the above
picture, you can see two weapons labelled "BEAM
2")
This is what it
means:

BEAM 1 |
Weak beam weapon; can be dissipated by an enemy’s I-Field |
BEAM 2 |
Strong beam weapon; can penetrate an enemy’s I-Field, but will be weakened |
MAP |
Map weapon; Weapon performed on the main map itself; covers a large area |
EX-MAP |
Weapon that is used to attack units on a different map layer or different heights |
MAP-EN |
A Map Weapon that does both HP and EN damage |
PSYCOM |
Psychomu Weapon; A weapon that only New Types or Enhanced Humans can use. Usually requires MP. |
Q-PSY |
A weapon meant for New Types or Enhanced Humans. However, Normal pilots can also use this weapon, but at the expense of using 2 times the amount of MP. |
Pilot Data
MP - Magic Points (needed for using certain weapons)
EXP - Experience needed to
advance to the next rank
NTL - New Type
Level; max is 9 (the higher it is, the more powerful his New Type powers
are)
PA - Pilot Attack
(affects the overall attack strength of the unit)
PD - Pilot Defence
(affacts the overall defence & evasion rate of the unit)
Rank (top right) - shows the rank he is currently on
A pilot ranks up in
the following order:
Status (top right) - shows if he is Normal, a New Type or an Enhanced
