BFT Salesman Yelled at Daughter - Then Realizes Mistake
Westgate Timeshare Resort Issues

Date of Incident: 10/11/2003

I know that every word that you say is true. My daughter and I bought a
two room villa with loft and cut off last year at the Westgate Resort in Orlando. My daughter, along with her nurse coworkers had to attend a wedding near the resort. The room was paid for by credit card. When they arrived and presented their confirmation, my daughter was told that she would not be able to stay there because our taxes had not been paid and that our account was being sent to a collection agency. My daughter swears that this was the most embarrassing half hour she had ever experienced. My daughter kept insisting that we owed nothing and he kept insulting my daughter at the top of his lungs. When he finally called the Account Department, he found out the taxes were not due until 2004.

No apology after he found out his mistake. He was still his arrogant self. They did get to stay but guess what? There was no electricity with two hours for the group to get ready for the wedding after arguing with this man.

Now we want out and are trying to sell our Time Share. We E-mail the Sales Person telling him what we want to do. My E-mail was returned as undeliverable. I read every single one of those horror stories encountered with Westgate sales people, the pressure tactics with the lies, the whole bit. Please, let the whole world know by your E-mail so that they will think before even entering that hard-sell zoo. Please feel free to add my E-mail to your Web site of complaints against this company.
