The Realm of Spirits

Normally when someone hears the word Occult, they immediately think of some witch that practices some form of Devil Worshiping. Well I practice the Occult in some ways, but I'm not a witch, yet, and the only person I know of a few people that have ever been satanic, and most of them turned from it, or liked it for the reputation it had. I've actually read things from the Satanic Bible and one quote is "Who needs love, you can get the same feeling from a box of chocolates." If anyone has ever seen "Devil's Advocate", a good movie, it quotes that book often.

And the point is? uumm.. the point is that the word Occult, traces back as far as most religions, and in some points farther. The Occult is not a belief itself, but a term for a group of different things, beliefs, religons, that are also classified as 'pagan.' In a way it's wrong for me to even use the word 'Occult' because I personally do not believe using that word is correct for everything I placed here, but it is something I know is easily understood.

I will be one of the first to admit that I believe in a realm of super natural over that of a God, but I don't play in enforce my opinions upon anyone. If you don't care for my beliefs in this area you are free to go back, explore the rest of the site or just leave it completely. I myself am very open to other peoples beliefs, and I was raised Christian, baptized, all that stuff, but within the past half a year a have seen things that have made me think again. I've been thinking enough that at the present I don't even consider myself Christian anymore, but I'll never admit that to my parents for my step mother is strict catholic.

So some of my friends say I have 'the touch'. The first to outright tell me was my internet brother Adam, in the middle of one of our theology related conversations. It was over the fact that when Iuse a deck of tarot cards, I am very close to accurate on peoples pasts. There futures, I don't know, but my own has been right. Through Tarots is where I first started getting interested, and when you do your own reading, with the past area showing cards that give exactly the most painful parts of your past, you start to listen. I have never had someone tell me that I was totally wrong, or more then one card they didn't understand. I know you're probably saying that they can be interpreted in many ways, and I know my own friends pasts. But most of them I didn't until then, so interpreting them was all a matter of feeling.

I am also currently trying to learn the arts of Wicca and become a Witch you could say, but I can't twitch my nose and get what I want. Sorry, it's not that easy. But life isn't that easy, and Samantha was not your ordinary TV mother.

Another thing caught my eye when I was in an Occult store one day, and that was runes, stones with 'odd' designs carved into the center. They are used for the same result as tarots but of course a different procedure.

Now, for you that are just now getting interested, and tarots, wicca, or runes, is a little too complicated for your present interests. Here are some basic fundamentals, and meanings of things that may catch your eye. For the fledgling from a neonate.
