Mind verse Heart

The Minds Eye wanders

from one thing to the next

never staying to ponder

the life that is left

should it listen to another

another part of it's soul

or is it sole controller

of the life that it holds

does ones heart ever have a say

no matter that it not thinks

it just wants to do what it feels is right

no matter what the mind says or speaks

so it forgets all rationality

just does what it will do

while the brain thinks it over

missing it's long awaited cue
