The Butcher

To kill the Butcher, you first need to find him. He is on the second level in a room full of blood and dead bodies. After you have found him, you can cast fire wall on the other side of the door or you can shoot him through a gate. If you decide to go hand to hand, make sure you have some decent armor on; he can be quite tough if he starts hitting you. Your reward is the Butcher's Cleaver, an axe.

Get this quest by talking to the wounded townsman outside the church.

The Poisoned Water

This quest is one of the easiest ones. This one is on level three, but not in the level itself. You need to find a crack in the wall which says 'To a Dark Passage.' This will take you to a section that looks like the caves. Once inside, all you have to do is kill all of the monsters. However, be warned, there are some goatmen in the cave that can be quite deadly to a person without any armor. Your reward is the Ring of Truth that you get from Pepin the Healer.

Get this quest by talking to Pepin after reaching level three.

Arkaine's Valor

This quest yields quite a useful reward, Arkaine's Valor, unique armor. To complete this quest that is on level five, you need to get the three bloodstones and use them in the altar. When you have done this you shall be rewarded.

Chamber of Bone

This quest completed by rekilling all of the undead in a secret chamber that leads from a staircase in level six. Once up there, you have to kill all of the skeletons and undeads and that manner of monsters. After you have killed all the monsters, you shall be rewarded with the spell of Guardian. See spells for more details on this spell.

This quest is found by reading a book around level six, I'm not sure which one.

Gharbad the Weak

After you have found this carver on level four, he will say not to kill him and he keeps making weapons. After you return to him a few times, he will attack you and you are forced to kill him. He drops the weapon that he was using, a random weapon each time.

Get this quest by talking to him.

Halls of the Blind

This quest I am not too sure about. I think it's on level seven, but I can't be certain. Anyway, once you find it, go into a four room area and kill all of the Sneakers, monsters that attack and then vanish into the shadows. Once you have killed all of the monsters, you receive your reward, the Optic Amulet.

Get this quest by reading a book somewhere in the surrounding levels.

Zhar the Mad

Zhar the Mad is an evil sorceror that fights like an Wizard, but is not as powerful. He is found on the eighth level and you have to kill him to recieve a random magic item and a scroll or a book.

Anvil of Fury

The Anvil of Fury is something that Griswold the Blacksmith wants very dearly, so dearly in fact that he will make a sword called Griswold's Edge if you get it for him. The Anvil of Fury is heavily guarded and is on a peninsula, with lava surrounding it. It is usually found on level nine or ten, but can be found on later levels.

Get this quest from Griswold the Blacksmith.

Ogden's Sign

For this quest, you need to return Ogden's tavern sign to him. It is located in a treasure chest on level four guarded by many overlords and a unique monster called Snotspill. Once you have killed Snotspill and his minions, you can get the sign and return it to Ogden for a Harlequin Crest. You also receive Ice Shank the sword from the dead Snotspill.

Get this quest from Ogden the Tavern Owner.

The Curse of King Leoric

This quest can be quite beneficial, but the to defeat the Skeleton King, you need to be properly armed. He is located on the third level and when you find two skeleton switches and a lot of skeletons, you know you have found him. Push the lever next to the east room. This opens a door which leads to some treasure chests which contain items to help you defeat the Skeleton King. Then hit the west room switch. This opens the door to the Skeleton King. Kill the Skeleton King first, because he will ressurect his dead minions. Use Holy Bolt on him, if it is strong enough, you only need to fire about a fifteen and he's dead. Your reward is the Undead Crown. Other magical items can be found to the north. Also, if you chop down all four of the crucified skeletons, a secret passage will open up.

The Black Mushroom

For this quest, you need to find the Fungal Tome, which is found on level ten. Once you have found this, give it to Adria the Witch and she will tell you that she needs the Black Mushroom, which is also found on level ten. After giving her the Black Mushroom, she tells you that Pepin needs a demon's brain. Kill any demon and take its brain to Pepin and he will give you the Spectral Elixer. Then you try to give it to Adria, but she says she doesn't need it. Your reward is to drink the Spectral Elixer, which will add three points to all of your statistics.

Get this quest by giving Adria the Witch the Fungal Tomb.

The Magic Rock

You find the Magic Rock in one of the Catacomb levels. After you have found it, give it to Griswold the Blacksmith and he will give you the Empyrean Band as a reward for your efforts.

Get the quest from Griswold.

The Warlord of Blood

On level thirteen is where you shall find the Warlord of Blood. After you find the Steel Tome, the door to the Warlord of Blood's armory opens, releasing the Warlord of Blood. This may seem like a bad thing, but the rewards inside the armory are tremendous. The warlord is immune to fire, lightning, and magic spells, but he is susceptible to stone curse and golem. Stone curse him and then cast golem. Two golems should do the trick. You get four enchanted weapons and two sets of enchanted armor, plus the weapon the warlord drops.

Lachdanan

First you need to find the Golden Elixer. It is located in level fifteen, as is Lachdanan. Once found, take it to Lachdanan and he will give you the Veil of Steel, a very good helmet.

Archbishop Lazarus

Enter the Archbishop's lair by entering the red star portal. He is found on level fifteen along with another two mini-bosses, two succumbi. You should get three items; one from each of the bosses. Lazarus should have something REAL good on him.

Get this quest from Cain the Elder on level fourteen.

DIABLO!

Diablo himself is pretty easy, if you know what to do. Just go up to him and kick some a**! Holy bolt works nicely on him as well, that's good for a sorceror.

Get this quest from Cain the Elder.
