• Tony Schiavone announced that Kimberly was okay, after she was injured the previous week by Scott Steiner. She suffered a mild concussion and facial lacerations, and Diamond Dallas Page had taken her to a place where no one could find her.

• Backstage, Arn Anderson started to beat up Disco Inferno, but was arrested.

• Footage was shown of Ric Flair and his friends arriving at an airport in Tampa, Florida. Eric Bischoff was their choffeur. He was dressed in a tuxedo, with a hat, and politely opened and closed the door for Flair and his friends.

Jerry Flynn defeated Saturn

- Saturn, in his dress, focused mainly on Jerry Flynn's ankle. Flynn came back with a few of his martial arts and wrestling maneuvers. As Saturn took the advantage, he put his dress over Flynn, and hit him with several punches. Saturn executed a frog splash, and was about to finish off Flynn, but Chris Jericho interfered, while suspended referee, Scott Dickinson was distracting the official refereeing the match. Saturn tossed over Jericho, but was nailed once he turned around with one of Flynn's Spinning Wheel Kick for the win.

• Footage was shown of Ric Flair having a conversation with his friends inside the limousine, which Eric Bischoff was driving. They mentioned Will Sasso would take on Bret Hart later in the show. Flair received a phone call from a friend named Jim, and was told of what went down with Arn Anderson and Disco Inferno. Flair requested for Jim to get Anderson out of trouble. After Flair returned from the commercial break, Flair continued to talk with his friend, Jim over Anderson. Flair's friends were concerned that they weren't going the right way. Flair asked Bischoff how long to they would get to the Fairgrounds in Tampa. Bischoff said 20 minutes. Bischoff was then shown talking to someone else, saying he would be "there" in 15 minutes.

Blitzkreig, Psychosis, and Juventud Guerrera defeated Super Calo, El Dandy, and Hector Garza.

- During the match, Tony Schiavone announced that Rey Mysterio, Jr. and Lex Luger got into an altercation before the show, and Mysterio was injured. There weren't many high-flying maneuvers in the beginning, but rather toward the end. Blitzkreig, Psychosis, and Juventud Guerrera took the win with their successful teamwork.

• Footage was shown of the woman coming on to the person behind the camera in her hotel room.

• Footage was shown of the limousine in the middle of no where. A helicopter was nearby, putting a spotlight on everything. Eric Bischoff walked out of the car, leaving Ric Flair and his friends locked in. The Wolfpac-NWO arrived in jeeps, wearing black ski-masks. The Wolfpac-NWO told Flair's friends to get out of the car, while they all surrounded Flair in a field. They started to brutally beat Flair down in a grass field, and did it for at least seven minutes straight. Flair was left on the grass field, while The Wolfpac-NWO left in their jeeps.

Tag Team Title Tournament: Chris Benoit and Dean Malenko defeated Fit Finlay and Dave Taylor

- Fit Finlay had the win for himself and Dave Taylor with his Tombstone Piledriver on Chris Benoit, but Dean Malenko interrupted. Malenko later strapped Taylor in the Texas Cloverleaf, and just before he officially set it on, Benoit nailed Taylor with a diving headbutt. Benoit and Malenko would go on to face Mike Enos and Scotty Riggs (replacing Bobby Duncum, Jr.) later in the show, while Finlay and Taylor were eliminated, but would go on to a loser's bracket.

• Tony Schiavone, Mike Tenay, and Bobby Heenan got some comments from The Nitro Girls on Kimberly's injury. Spice said she felt really scared, and it had been a rough week for The Nitro Girls. Whisper, crying, said they missed Kimberly, and hoped she was doing okay. Storm and Fire were also there.

Bret Hart defeated Will Sasso (w/Debra Wilson)

- Will Sasso was wearing a black football jersey, blue shorts, red knee bads, and white boots. Debra Wilson, also from MAD TV, accompanied her fellow partner, Sasso. Bret Hart dominated Sasso, who sold the moves very well. At one point, Hart brought a chair and a bottle of water in the ring, to rest. On the outside of the ring, Hart choked Sasso with cables. He wanted to hit Sasso with a chair, but Wilson stopped the move. Wilson automatically turned on Sasso, and nailed him with a chair. Hart dragged Sasso into the ring, hit him in the groin, and strapped him in the Sharpshooter for the win. Wilson raised Hart's hand in the end, and they both hugged each other.

• Backstage, The Wolfpac-NWO arrived in their black jeeps. The announcer's had no idea what they were laughing about, since they didn't see the footage of Ric Flair being beaten down in the middle of no where. The Wolfpac-NWO made their ways in through the crowd, instead of the entrance way. Hollywood Hogan, remaining in a ski-mask at some point, said he was not afraid to face Flair at Super Brawl IX. The rest of The Wolfpac-NWO took off to the locker room for some reason. Hogan said he would give Flair a Heavyweight Title shot right then and there. Hogan gave Flair a 10 count to come to the ring, but Flair never did since he was attacked earlier in the night. United States Champion, Roddy Piper, made his way down instead. Piper said he was tired of Hogan, and would give Hogan a reality check (he was sporting a T-shirt of it). Piper said since he was still WCW Commissioner, he would wrestle Hogan then and there for the title.

Roddy Piper defeated Hollywood Hogan by Disqualification, to let Hogan retain the Heavyweight Title.

- Roddy Piper and Hollywood Hogan brawled around the ring. Piper was able to slap around Hogan with Hogan's belt. Piper had his usual sleeper finishing maneuver on Hogan, but it was broken once Scott Hall entered. Hall stunned Piper all over with the taser. Other Wolfpac-NWO members made their ways in. Hall dawned Piper's quilt, bowed to the crowd, and acted like a bashful woman.

• Footage was shown of one of Ric Flair's friend picking him up from the ground. Flair moaned to his friend to take him to the Fairgrounds.

• Footage was shown of Scott Steiner's lawyer issuing a statement. Steiner was supposedly injured by Diamond Dallas Page. DDP would be taken to court.

• An Elizabeth and Lex Luger promo was shown, where they insulted Konnan and Rey Mysterio, Jr.

Tag Team Title Tournament: Chris Benoit and Dean Malenko defeated Mike Enos and Scotty Riggs with Benoit's Crippler Crossface.

- While the match went to a commercial break, Ric Flair's friend stopped his truck at a gas station. Flair tried to get out of the truck, but his friend brought him right back in. Scotty Riggs and Mike Enos came very close to beating Dean Malenko and Chris Benoit. Malenko and Benoit were about to finish off the match with the same maneuver they finished off Fit Finlay and Dave Taylor with, but were unsuccessful. Instead, Benoit finished off Riggs with the Crippler Crossface, while Malenko held back Enos on the outside of the ring.

Ric Flair's friend continued to drive to the Fairgrounds.

• More footage was shown of the woman coming on to the guy behind the camera in their hotel room. She was in a robe, and said to the man behind the camera they still had a few minutes to have fun before he went to go "talk to those guys."

• Michael Buffer gave the main event introduction, but The Wolfpac-NWO interfered. Hollywood Hogan said Ric Flair was backstage hiding from him. Hogan gave Flair a 20 count to come down to the ring and face him for the Heavyweight Title. Flair and his friend arrived in their pick-up truck. A beaten down Flair fell out of the truck, picked up a stick from the behind of the truck, and slowly made his way down to the ring through the crowd, falling most of the time. Chris Benoit and Dean Malenko came in to try and put The Wolfpac-NWO to a stop, but were out-numbered. Flair was beaten down once again with a stick. Flair, desperately, tried to fight back, but nothing. The show went off the air with Hall in the back with his taser. He said, "Now you know how it's done. Don't mess it up."
