Blackfyre says : Please keep in mind this is entertainment, and not a spelling or grammar test, so don't rate the players on their typing skills.
Blackfyre says : Gentlemen, you may BEGIN
Kel concentrates. The air in the area begins to crackle with pure magical energy. His lips move but no sound is audible. Kel hurls an elephant at Jaxom. Halfway to him, it shimmers for a brief second and becomes a cluster of jagged, ice shards. The cruise through the air with a high-pitched humming.
Kel says [to you] : done.
Blackfyre smiles.
Jaxom searches his pockets frantically, and at last he pulls a small object out. he tosses it into the air and you see that it is a peanut. in mid-air it cracks open revealing two small orange balls that are giving off extreme heat. the fly towards the cluster of ice and melt it into a puddle, then dissappear. with a flick of teh wrist the puddle of water lifts into the air and begins to solidify into a small but fierce water drake. the drake skims across the grass and heads after kel baring it's teeth
You say [to kel] : your witness. I mean, done ;)
Kel maintains his somewhat calm composure. He chants "Together they are fire's bane but separate they will burn again!" The hydrogen and oxygen molecules of the water separate but maintain velocity. Kel snaps his fingers and the cluster of elements bursts into searing, yellow-orange flame. He steps back far enough to not get burnt but lights a cigarette off the ball of flame. Kel takes a drag of his cigarette. "I know I've got a sexy bod, but now I'll be a lightning rod!" The clouds above funnel electricity down to him. He begins to glow and, finally, lighting erupts from the knuckle of his right hand and race at Jaxom.
Kel says [to you] : i've blown my load. You're turn. ;)
Jaxom utters a small chant in the elven tongue and his hands begin to glow. he raises them above his head and with a small burst a camera appears in his hand. he tosses the camera into the lightning, and the camera begins to absorb its electricity and uses it to turn itself on. Jaxom aims the camera at kel and presses teh shutter button, but instead of a flash of light there's a flash of dark as Kel's essence begins to be ripped from it's body and into the camera.
You say [to kel] : There ya go
Kel allows himself to be pulled into the camera. It falls to the ground and breaks open. The negative of Kel pops up from the smashed pieces. The negative grows three dimensional and in size as well. The sun burns red for a moment and Kel is fully developed. He picks up his cigarette from the ground and takes another drag. "Ancient brothers, show your powerr, grind this man into talcum powder." Some nearby stones wiggle in their places and finally pop free and move towards Jaxom at an alarming rate.
Kel says [to you] : *an egg timer goes off* your turn.
Jaxom pulls a juggling ball from his pouch. with a gesture and a word it glows fiercly and rams into the ground, and when the dust settles jaxom is gone and all that remains is a small hole. A shrill whining is heard as he emerges somewhere out of sight behind the rocks. from out of the sky a ball falls to the ground, bursts open, and from inside emerge two balls of fire and a spirit of wind. they combine and a firestorm descends upon kel.
You say [to kel] : *smacks a gong* Be my guest
Kel steps back a second. "What to do..." He whirls his hands in the air and a high-pressure weather system moves in. The wind of the storm cannot survive in these conditions. The fire falls to the ground and makes a ring to Kel's left. The flames turn into burning bushes which beautify the area. A small dandylion next to Jaxom's right foot shimmers. The flower morphs into a 150 pound, salivating badger. It mashes onto Jaxom's leg with it's mighty incisors. A little foam begins to appear around the edges of it's mouth.
Kel says [to you]: Go. *so what if this one "go"lacks theatrics*
Blackfyre says : Final round
Jaxom growls something under his breath and clouds form, blocking out all but a small portion of the sun which shines on a nearby rock. holding up his hand he makes a monstrous shadow puppet, and with a chant the shadow solidifies, grabs the beaver, and flies off. he pulls a green juggling ball from his bag and holds it on his leg. it glows faintly and when he removes it the bite is cleansed and healed. He then summons his greatest weapon. from his pouch he brings a bag of food and scatters it on the ground until mice and rats and other assorted rodents come to eat it. with a chant they grow monstrously large and turn on kel, drooling and squealing
You say [to kel] : done
Kel chants "My kitty cat is a hungry beast, but I'm so nice he'll have a feast." A monsterous white cat, with one blue eye and one yellow eye, jumps from Kel's pocket. The cat leaps upon the rodents but alas they are many. The cat and rodents tear about the clearing, the two great magics clashing in glorious combat. A dull hum emminates through the atmosphere and the rats and great cat alike explode from the magical friction. Kel watches the bright blast from behind his stylin', dark sunglasses. He bows to Jaxom respectfully, "Good match, brother."

Blackfyre says : Ok now, the viewers that haven't turned into husks need to vote. We'll use a rating system. Use a tell to rate the duelists, such as Jaxom 5 Kel 5, or so on, the scale is 1-10.
Blackfyre says [to spiff] : Well, you unhusked just in time ;)
Spiff says [to blackfyre] : I timed it perfect. was watching Laurel and Hardy movies. :-)
Blackfyre says : That would be it, seeing as the remaining viewers are husked away.
Spiff says : very close match...
Blackfyre says : And the winner is Kel, by 1 point. COngrats
