These are the stories of the Nightshift Vampires

hide me...

My parents died when I was just coming to maturity. I was left with my sister Destiny_Nightshift and my grandfather. Shortly afterward, my grandfather had a stroke and died. My sister and I were millionaires, and I left college to manage the estate while Destiny stayed in school until she graduated. When she came back to the house, she took over the house as I had, and I left to California to seek out some fun. I did not know she followed me.

In California, I met Katrinka_Avalon. She lived in a flat in Los Angeles and had a house in Malibu. I had never met a woman so beautiful, let alone a vampiress. She seduced me and embraced me, and that is when Destiny found us. While she was looking around LA for me, she had met a werewolf who awoke the lycanthrope genes within her. She was an insane beast and it was all I could do to lock her up. Katrinka introduced me to the Vampire's Tavern where I could go and RPG. It opened a whole new world for me, and I explored it eagerly. Little did I know that behind my back, Katrinka turned my sister into a vampire without my consent. I was so fucking angry with her! I didn't talk to her for weeks aftwerward. Then I was attacked.

This is all blurry to me, the edges are hazy and I don't know exactly what happened, but I was tortured and asked questions which I didn't know the answers to. My mind was broken into, and my memories mixed up. When Katrinka found me, I was so incoherent and empty of blood, I was almost dead. After a transfusion (from her to me several times) I remembered her. I remembered my sister also later, but by then it was too late. And even as I type this I am thinking of leaving. I cannot stand to be around them any longer, especially Katrinka. I hate to leave my sister, but she is stronger than she knows.

pain of sightNow I know what happened. I was cursed with sight, not what you think at all. I can't see anything beautiful. If I look at something beautiful, something terrible happens to my eyes. They morph and become two irises in each eye, all colors of eyes that can be, and my eyes bleed. The pain is so terrible, but sometimes it is worth it. Sometimes I would rather have the pain of the sight of something beautiful.
