99 of
Any Item
To get 99 of any item, first put the item you want to multiply in
the 6th spot. Now use FLY and go to Viridian City. Talk to the
old man almost all the way north of the town. When he asks if you
are in a hurry, say no and watch him catch a weedle.
Right after that, fly to Fuchsia city. Make your way south and,
when you you reach the water's edge, use SURF and make your way
to Seafoam island.
When you get to seafoam island, swim up and down the beach until
you run into a Pokemon called "M" (a glitch like
Missingno) Once you see him, kill him or run away. DO NOT CATCH
HIM! After that, you should have 99 of your 6th item!

Celadon City Slot Tip
All of the slot machines have different odds, which change every
time. Play each machine 4 times, and if it hits 2 or more, then
stick with that one, because it's probably hot.
If the slow machine forces you really close to a 777 or Bar Bar
Bar it will probably give you one or the other soon.

Cut Down Grassy Areas
Once you get the HM "cut", your pokemon can cut down
grassy areas. Use "cut" and it will cut a two by two
area. Wild Pokemon will not attack you in the area you cut.

Defeating Sabrina
When you enter the Saffron City gym you'll see a warp next to a
trainer. Step into it. You'll appear in another room full of
warps and a Trainer. Step into the warp on your left. Then step
into the warp below you. Then step into the warp on your left.
And then, step into the warp on your left.
Once you've done that you'll come in to a room with one warp and
that's the one your standing on. Now talk to the trainer in the
room, and get ready to defeat Sabrina.
Here are the Pok?on she will use:
Kadabra - L38
MR. MIME - L37
Venomoth - L38
Alakazam - L43
These are all phsycic Pok?on and very powerful. Your best bet
against these guys is a Venusaur or other grass-type Pok?on. Use
your Razor Leaf if you have a Venusaur.

Easy Level Gain
To easily gain experience, simply switch the Pok?on you want to
train with the top Pok?on on your list. When you go into battle
the Pok?on will pop out. You can then switch to another Pok?on.
Once you win the battle the beginning Pok?on and the fighting
Pok?on will both gain experience points.

Fight Land Creatures in Water
To fight creatures that normally live on land in water, go to the
water around Cinnabar Island or Seafoam Islands (The only place
you can be randomly attacked while swimming.) Swim along the
shore of any island and you will fight land creatures. (You have
to swim on a place where the square is half land and half water.)
Instead of fighting a set group of monsters in the water, you
actually fight monsters from the last place you were. So to get
safari zone monsters, you need to go to the section of the safari
zone with that monster, let your time run out, then go to the
coast. Using this trick I have caught Kangaskhan, Scyther, and
Tauros!

To easily gain experience, use the Pok?on you want to train with
the top Pok?on
on your list. When you go into battle the Pok?on will pop out.

switch to another Pok?on. Once you win the battle the beginning

Defeating the Elite Four:
The "Elite Four" consist of Lorelei, Bruno, Agatha and
Lance, in that order.
They appear at the end of Victory Road. Before you fight them,
there is a chance
to change Pok?on, heal Pok?on and buy items for the last time
before battling
them.
First to battle, Lorelei is the mistress of ice Pok?on. She has
Dewgong,
Cloyster, Slowbro, Jynx and Lapras. Use a fire since ice Pok?on
are weak against
fire. (Fire melts ice)
Next comes Bruno. He has Onix, Hitmonchan, Hitmolee, Onix and
Machamp in that
order. To be exact, he starts off with a Lv. 53 Onix. After that,
he switches
off to fighting and gets out a Lv. 55 Hitmonchan and then a Lv.
55 Hitmonlee.
After the fighting duo, he gets out a Lv. 56 Onix and finally his
ace card, the
Lv. 58 Machamp. A water, psychic or flying Pok?on would be good
for Bruno.
Agatha has Ghost Pok?on. She has Gengar, Golbat, Haunter, Arbok
and Gengar in
that order. Agatha has mind-controllers at her control, kicking
it off with a
Lv. 56 Gengar. Then, a Lv. 56 Golbat will try to CONFUSE you into
submission. A
lighter challenge (Lv. 55 Haunter) comes in afterwards. You might
think she ran
out of good Pok?on, but at Lv. 58 Arbok comes out next, followed
by a Lv. 60
Gengar. No Pok?on has a big advantage over these (Ghost) Pok?on
but do NOT use
normal or fighting.
Finally comes Lance. He has Gyrados, two Dragonairs, Aerodactyl
and Dragonite in
that order. The forth man (Lance) has awesome Dragons to fight
you. He said he
trained for a long time, no wonder he starts off with a Lv. 58
Gyrados! A pair
of Lv. 56 Dragonairs follows the fight. A Lv. 60 Aerodactyl next
(I guess he was
at the lab too). Finally, he brings out his long-trained and VERY
hard-to-get
Lv. 62 Dragonite! A few words...watch out for the HYPER BEAM!
This is where your
Articuno comes in handy.
It's not over...
After 4 long, hard battles, you will realize that you've already
defeated the
Elite Four until Gary shows up. After he tells you of his
ambition, you fight
his 6 strong (all about Lv.60) Pok?on with what is left of your
six. If you
manage to defeat him in this climatic and difficult battle, be
prepared for the
ending of Pok?on!
Easier way of catching Pok?ons:
When you are trying to catch a Pok?on, after sending a Pok?all,
hit the A button
while repeatedly pressing the right arrow key. If it doesn't work
the first
couple of times keep trying, it should work after a practice
shots.

Secret Coins:
There are hidden coins lying around in the Game Corner. You can
pick them up by
walking around and pressing the A button.
How to move Snorlax:
First, you must go to the Casino place with the slot machines and
there is a
team rocket member in the back. Talk to him and then you'll fight
him. After,
press 'A' on the picture behind him: this will open a secret
door. Go through
the secret door, beat the building and you will get a Silph
scope. Go back to
the place with the ghosts and go in that tower. Go all the way to
the top then
you'll fight Cubone mothers which you can now see because you
have the Silph
scope. Then go up fight the team rocket members. After that, talk
to the guy you
rescue and he'll give you the Pok?lute!! The Pok?lute will help
wake up Snorlax

To catch Spearow and Nidoran in Viridian City:
In Viridian City, go left towards Victory Road. On the tall
grass, you can catch
Nidoran and Spearow during this early part of the game!!
Where to find the rarest Pok?on:
Articuno: He's an ice Pok?on and is found in the Seafoam caves.
To reach him,
you have to push to rocks into those black squares. They will
fall into water
and change the current. After the current is calmer, use the surf
ability to
reach the island with a bird on it. That's Articuno. Make sure
you have ultra
balls with you, you have only one chance to catch this Pok?on.
Zapdos: He's an electric type Pok?on and is found in the Power
Plant under Rock
cave. Use the surf ability to reach it. Go into the river and
just follow the
only path. Search around the power plant. It's like the others, a
bird. You have
only one chance, so be careful.
For other rare Pok?on, try the safari game in Fuschia city. To
catch them, first
throw bait, then a rock, and finally the safari ball. The ones
hardest to catch
are the weaker ones, because they always run. (how annoying)

Articuno
Type: Ice
Level: 50
Catching strategy: Have any normal type at L: 45-51. Reduce life
less than half.
Use ultra ball to capture.

First beat them up when he uses rest reduce under half and use
Wiggytuff to put
him to sleep then use an ultra ball to capture.
Location: Before cycling road.
Rank: 150th
Zapdos:
Type: Electricity
Level: 50
Use Articuno's ice beam then use a master ball to capture.
Location: Power Plant
Rank: 3rd
Moltres:
Moltres is in the victory road cave on the third level from the
entrance (bottom
I think) and Mewtwo is in the cave outside of Cerulean that only
Pok?on champs
can enter. For catching them, weaken them then put them to sleep
this is the
best way to catch them if you do not have the master ball.
Find Mewtwo:
To find the ominous "Mewtwo", go to Cerulean City and
travel up the bridge
toward Bill's. When you reach the end of the bridge, go to the
left and us the
surf ability. Follow the river until you reach a cave. This is
the unknown
dungeon, (like it says in the map in the instructions). Now,
travel through it
to find Mewtwo. He's at level 70!!! Remember: You get one chance.
Getting a Metapod, or a Kakuna, that can attack:
First, you must capture a Caterpie , or a Weedle, before they're
in level 7
(level 7 is when they evolve into Metapod/Kakuna) *Note: In doing
this, you do
not get Harden.* Yet another note: They will only stay in
Kakuna/Metapod for
three levels,after that you get Butterfree/Beedrill.
The Golden Teeth:
In the Pok?on instruction manual, it tells about golden teeth.
They are located
in Safari Zone near the Secret House.
To get to the Power Plant for Electric Pok?ons:
Go to Cerrulean City, head toward Saffron but don't go to
Saffron. Instead, take
the path that leads East toward Rock Tunnel. Don't go into Rock
Tunnel, instead
go North to the water and SURF. It will lead you to Power Plant.
Be Careful,
some of the things that look like Poke Balls are actually
Voltorbs.
To defeat Ghosts in Lavender Town:
In Lavender Town, to defeat the Ghosts use a Poke Doll. You can
get one from
Celadon Dept. Store.

Finding Electric-type Pok?ons:
If you are looking for electric type Pok?on, don't sweat it. Go
to the entrance
of rock tunnel (by Cerulean city) and use the surf ability at the
river nearby.
Just follow the only path, that will take you to an old power
plant. You will
find Many Voltorbs, Medium Pikachu's, Medium Magnemite, Few
Raichu's and VERY
Few Electrodes.
Note: Electrodes will always use self-destruct, it's easier to
trade a
Raichu for an Electrode at the Cinabar Islands.
In case you didn't know...
Traded or released Pok?on still count as yours in the Pok?ex. If
you traded
Spearow, the Pok?ex will still have all the info on Spearow, so
don't worry
about recatching one. This will also work with game link cables.
Trade the
Pok?on with your friend, get the info, and then trade back.
Getting a free bike:
In Vermilion City, there is a Pok?on fan club. If you listen to
what the Club
President says, he'll eventually give you a Bike Voucher. Take it
to the Bike
Shop in Cerulean City to get a bike for free! This saves a LOT of
time trying to
earn money to buy it!

swim in the water and you will find an island with a boulder on
it
if you have not done the access code yet then you can not push it
but if you have done it then push it and a pokeball is under it
get the pokeball and inside is mew the first pokegod
now that you have 151 pokemon
get your 3 birds out again
and ... this is one part iam not sure about yet
the legendary birds
you either get out 3 geodudes ...
or one geo. 1 gravlerand 1 golem

you can have other pokemon with it but you really need your

go to cerulean city and go to the water ( you know by the unknown

use the item finder in the water and after while it will beep and
you will...
find a pokeball with a note in it
the note says there is a rare pokemon by cinnabar island
be prepared because you fight this one
and they are strong
then go to cinnabar island..

once you are at cinnabar island have the pokemon that you taught
dig
supposbly you dig in the water around cinnabar...
supposily if you dig in the right place a pikablu appears
if you do not have the master ball..

MISSINGNO:
you have to have traded 4 times
then beat the elite four
and heal your pokemon at pallet town
hen fly directly to cinnabar island
then swim up and down the east coast of the sea between pallet
and cinnabar
after while you will see missingno

Here it is, the one you've waited for, the Pok?ods code. If it

Get the three Legendary Birds, (Articuno, Moltres, and Zapdos)
and also capture
three Geodudes. put the legendary birds on top, and the geodudes
on bottom of
you active six Pokemon. then go to the guy in Saffron City who
gives you the
Psychic TM (Mr. Psychic) and talk to him. He will then tell you
to find them
Okay, I learned how to get a 2nd Pok?od. I'm sure you guys will
like this one.
It's PIKABLU!!! It is a blue Pikachu that has type one Ice, and
type two
electric.(go figure, i's like a Paradox in itself.)
To get Pikablu, use the itemfinder near Cerulean city, and
eventually you will
find a pok?all with a note inside of it. The note says that There
is a Pok?on
that can only be found in the water around Cinnabar Island. The
note is
supposedly in a pok?all in the water near the bridge in Cerulean
City.
Supposedly, you have to use the Dig ability in the water near
Cinnabar Island.
If you dig in the right place, you will find Pikablu.
Mew
you can get it right of the S.S.Anne this is how you do this:
for
people who have two game pak
beat one game pak
the next game pak dont go on S.S.Anne
get a pokemon that you teach cut to from the beaten version
then get the Soulbadge then Surf HM
go back to ss anne pass the ticket guy then surf and when you
reach the island on the right of the ss anne
move a blouderthen you will find a pokeball with mew in it.
