Perched among the clouds in the `Archipelago of Dreams', the heart of the Vinca, in the grand Palace of the Dragon, there has been a pool unlike any other, formed from tears of overhwelming joy Thelcoda shed at the beauty and tragedy unleashed by the creation of Time. Since Aristaya, Lady of Imagination, first saw her reflection in the pool, it has offered a view to all that ever existed in the Dreaming.

The pool itself appears in many worlds of the Dreaming, most hidden and some lost through the ages. A few were marked by ancient temples erected when the Primes walked openly in the realms of Wyrmmes and Furres, but even the temple stones have crumbled back into the ground, becoming lost testament to forgotten fables.

One legend still living in a myth rarely told speaks of a grove in a place no one knows, and the smooth uncut stone that forms a wide ring, a well of antiquity untold. To gaze in the well is to see the true state of your heart, and wishing upon it can grant that heart's desires.
