In the Palace of Shattered Reflections there is a close relationship between the ruling monarchy and the land. In many ways the king is the land. The actions taken by the monarch, however inconsequential they might seem, affect his domain. Usually, a kingdom reflects the personality of its ruler. If a king becomes brooding or falls prey to despair, darkness and cold become physical manifestations within his realm. An older king's aloofness brings an icy chill to his kingdom. In times of war, a king acts as warlord over all armies withtin the realm.
Kings are adressed as "Your Magesty," or occasionally "Your Royal Highness" (this is more common for a prince).
Royal Treasures: Kings possess crowns that allow them to know the locations of all their pennons (the markers of their territories) in the kingdom, scepters that allow them draw energy from hearths, seals that can countermand any ducal signet's imprent, and a weapon that is considered an extension of the royal will.
Apparel: The king dresses in regal, flowing clothing, generally in dark blues, purples, red and golds. He is commonly adorned in a long flowing cloak and a crown.
