Morgan is a tall, lithe figure, and her preference for dark clothing makes her pale, feral beauty that much more striking. The predatory grace and strength she possesses drew Joshua to her from the start. She shows less of her warrior skills these days, and more of the diplomacy and tact she learned from the Ventrue over the centuries...but the blade she carried as an Archon still sees use from time to time. Necropolis is far too crowded with supernaturals for there not to be conflict. Morgan and Joshua make quite a pair when dressed for battle in their black leathers. While she favors her long sword or wickedly sharp talons, Morgan is not above using modern firearms. Of course, Joshua's enchantments can make a normal gun worth using against Kindred, and she also has the benefit of his other magicks. Morgan calls on extra speed and strength, and even elemental blasts of Forces magick which Joshua has prepared for her. Joshua looks up to her, and continues to learn what he can of her warrior's skills, making up for the centuries of experience and age-old power that he lacks with magickal trickery. Even so, Morgan has no need to carry her weapons and armor around the city. No matter where she goes, Joshua watches over her, protecting her from harm like a guardian angel. |
Morgan and Joshua have been together for years now, but their shared destiny reaches back centuries into the past. Their fates have been intertwined for much of Morgan's life and the unlife that came after her Embrace. It's not a subject that they speak of in public, however. They concentrate on the present...and here and now, Morgan leads her Clan as the Jarl of their own Domain. The Palatinate was her response to the departure of the Gangrel Clan from the Camarilla, and within its boundaries she has all the power of a Prince, thanks to the territorial rights she secured from then-Prince Damascus. The warring seems ceaseless, and another battle looms on the horizon, but Morgan knows there is much more going on in Kindred circles than just the battles they wage in Necropolis. The Palatinate stands, perhaps as a last bastion of the Clan in these final nights until Gehenna begins...indeed, if it hasn't already begun.

With
that in mind, Morgan continues to teach Joshua about the Kindred -- arming
him with the knowledge of their history, their power, the stories of legend
that seem to be ringing true as the Final Nights loom over them. Now that the
long-dreaded Reckoning seems to have come and gone, Joshua
works to defend Morgan and the Gangrel Domain in return, preparing them for
Gehenna, which he sees as the far worse fate looming over their heads.
Morgan and Joshua once took part in the Ascension War, though far from Necropolis. To do so would be to draw attention where it is least wanted. Talk of their allies is also kept private, when possible. The aid they can draw on is best used to surprise one's enemies -- and they have plenty of those, within the dark city and beyond. |
