Author's Note: Hello again. Sorry it's been so long. It's just
that when I work hard on something and no one lets me know how
they feel, I tend to become disinterested. (Hint-Hint) Well
enough with the downer, I've spent more work on this one than the
other two put together. I wrote it out, edited some things, rewrote
it put it into form, then I hooked two monitors to my laptop, I sat
at the one with the keyboard, my brother (AKA:Gecko Warrior) sat
at the other one. From there I read the story to him, he checked for
mistakes I might have missed, suggested against words used to often
ect. I then took his suggestions edited some of the things I thought
would keep the attention of the reader.

then there is important information to be told about the
subject which could be found after the the time update.
Prologue: Two weeks later. Tails & Lily both are in mild comas
because of the great energy they both used up during the raid.
Sonic had awaken a week earleir, because he to was pumped of
all his energy when Tails and he became one.
Sally, Sonic, Bunny, Draco, Rotor And Chuck stood crowding around
a med-bed where Lily is laying unconciouse.
"How's she comin?" Sally asked
a bit groggely, having little sleep in the past two weeks.
"She should be coming around any moment now." Rotor replied.
As if on cue Lily began awakening.
"Huuuuuuuuuungh...aww damn have I got a headache!" She weakly moaned.
"How ya feelin' darlin'?" Bunny asked her.
She didn't reply, but continued moaning while masaging her head.
"Here allow me." Draco said moving to the front of the bed.
"Now that she's awake I can do this."
He lowered his hands to the sides of her head. He then began chanting to
himself. At first nothing happened but then a faint glow began to surround
him. But as the light began to travel down his arms, hands, and fingers, it
left his glowing body to encircle Lily's body. When the glow had finally
faltered they found Lily to be sitting up without any apparent pains.
"Awwwww... Thank you again Draco. Now do any of you guys mind telling me why
I'm in Rotor's medical hut?"
"Apparently..."Draco Spoke up.
"...young Mr. Prower did just what..."
"Oh...Where is Tails?" She eagerly asked standing without strain.
Sally just pointed still a bit awe stricken. Rotor was the first to recover.
"What just happened?" Rotor whispered to Draco.
"It's called 'energy transferance'. It's when a host(Me) gives it's own energy
to another being. She should feel just fine."
"Why's he unconcious?" Lily asked sitting next to the sleeping fox.
Sally spoke "He lost the most energy of the three of you."
"Three?...Who-Wha... Huh?"
"Yes..."Draco interupted. "Apparently Miles casted a murging spell on himself
with Sonic and you as murgees."
"Wait, hold up... Tails produced a murging spell?!? But he can't even levatate
rocks right. How could he do such a complicated spell as murging, I mean...
just the smallest mistake in the melecular coding could start a chain-reaction
causing his own cells to defect eachother, leading to a 'large'..."
"Yes, yes, I was just getting to that." Draco sat down next to Lily looking
down at Tails' silent form.
"First though...How much can you remember?"
"Ummm... Well I remember charging for a Power-Ball assault on the bots over
in robo-town, I remember firing, then I fell to the ground more tired than I
could ever remember, then something hit me, and then... well I can't quite
make it out, just bits and pieces after that."
"Well... then I think it's time we fill you in. After you discharged the
Power-Balls, you felt weak because you haven't excercised with great amounts
of magical energy before, so when you called upon your crystal, having been
use to simple spells, went frantic for energy to supply the needs of the
spell. When it found that 'magic' wasn't supplying nearly enough, it started
drawing it from your owm bodily energy, and beings you made two Power-Ball, it
had to find twice as much. I'm actually surprised you were even conciouse
after the spell. But anyway, after you fell from exausgtion, a stray droid
shot you causing your body to convulse, thus knocking your crystal from
around your neck,he then took you to Robotnik. After-words, while searching
for you and Sonic, Bunny, not knowing who it belonged to, picked up your
crystal. Later, while the Freedom Fighters were discussing about what to do
next, Bunny produced the small crystal which Miles immediatly recognized as
yours. He then took the crystal and activated causing his 'Magical' power
to double. But that's not all, in doing that he became angered allowing his
adrenalin to become active, which could increase a being's magic ten-fold.
>From then on he wasn't in control, the magic was in charge..........
...... ..... ... .. . "
[I'm not going to repeat the whole story. If you want to know what else
happened then I suggest you read "The Teaching of a Wizard". Let's just say
she read it to and knows just about everything *YOU* know.]
1230 hours
"NICOLE, please open file 'holonic.pro' under ~Programming Suite~ ver 3.0,
for editing."
"Coming your way, right-away."
Lily raised an eyebrow.
"NICOLE, remind me later to download you some modern, Mobian slang."
"...Note Taken."
"NICOLE, continue program."
Rotor entered the hut to check on Tails.
"How you doing?" he asked Lily
"I'll survive" He came up behind her to see what she was doing
"Programming Suite? Where did you learn that language?"
"My ~dad~ taught it to me when I wasn't even 5 years old."
"Really." Rotor said thoroghly impressed.
"And what does the program you made, do?"
"It's not quite finished... well I guess I can show you. NICOLE, Turn on
holo-emitters and run program 'holonic.pro', display full size."
After a momment of wirring, wizzing, and buzzing a hologram of a female
squirrel much like Sally only it looked 5 years older, had a pair of glasses
on and had a short red skirt that stopped about at her knees, stood staring
at them.
"Rotor, meet Nicole. Nicole, say 'Hello' to Rotor"
The Hologram turned to Rotor and spoke "Hey Rote Man, high five."
Rotor turned to Lily with an excited expression on his face "You can't touch
her, can you?"
"Not yet, but when I finish..."
She was cut short by a sonic boom and then Sonic himself coming inside.
"How's Tails com..."
Sonic stopped when he didn't recognize a female squirrel in the room with
Rotor and Sondra. The hologram turned to Sonic.
"Sonic, my main hedgehog."
"Something ''wrong'' Sonic?" Sondra Snickered.
"Ummmm... No, just major deja-vu."
Sonic walked up to the hologram not knowing it was a hologram.
"So what's your name"
"My name is Nicole and was pro..."
"Far-out Sally has a computer named NICOLE. Well put-er there."
Nicole reached out and did Sonic. Lily and Rotor couldn't hold it in a second
longer. The moment his hand went through Nicole's, they bursted out with
laughter. Sonic just stood, completly dumbfounded trying to figure out how
that happen.
"Nicole, end program, spare some of Sonic's embaressment.
"What....Was...That?" was all that Sonic could choke out.
"That, was my program..." Lily was cut off when Tails started moanig.
"Tails? Are you all right?" Tails looked up and could almost swear he saw
looking at an angel.
"Damn!, your beautiful"
Lily blushed.
"Hang in there big guy, I'll go get Draco." Sonic took off.
"Lily...come here...please" Tails choked out. Lily went to the head of the
bed.
"Yes Tails?"
Tails looked into her crystal blue eyes. He then reached up and put his hands
on her face. They felt warm, but unknown to her they began to glow, he
continued to look in her eyes, and there she froze looking into the distant
space of the young fox. Rotor looked at Lily and noticed the glowing hands and
the absent expression she bore. He walked beside her, and starting snapping
in front of her face. She didn't even flinch. A sonic boom was then heard as
Sonic entered the hut with Draco.
"Hey Sonic, sumthin funnys happening with Lily."
Draco was beside him in seconds "Ohhhhhhhhhhhh-CRAP!!, Sonic go get the rest
NOW!"
With that Sonic was off and back in five seconds flat with Sally, Bunny and
Chuck.
"What the Who-ha gives you the notion t..." Bunny broke off when she
saw Lily & Tails predicament.
"Draco, what's happening to Tails & Lily?"
"Apparently Tails woke up, saw Lily then began a 'Mind Meld'."
"Mind-what?" asked Sonic
"Mind Meld, it's when two or more minds are in a state of *pure* telepathy,
you only become aware of what you and your partner(s)'s thoughts are. You can
describe your life to them as if they lived it, Smelling every odor, seeing
every sight, hearing every sound, tasting every flavor, and feeling every
touch that you have."
"Can't we just pull'm apart?" asked Sonic.
"NO!!, doing that could cause great brain damage.
"What harm does being in this mind-thingy have on them?
"How's 'Rest In Peace' sound?"
"Then what can we do?" Sally asked, her voice cracking a bit.
"'I' will attempt to break the connection by means of telepathy. Or how you
guys would say 'To fight Fire with Fire.'"
He walked over to Tails and Lily, placing a firm hand on each of their heads.
He closed his eyes and began concentrating.
****Communication between Lily and Tails******
"Tails? What's happening? Are you there? TAILS I'M SCARED?!?" Lily was on
the brink of crying. "
I'm here Lily." Came a voice, but not from her ears but from her
mind.
"Tails?"
"Yes?"
"Wh-What's happening to me?"
"I have connected our thoughts through a mind meld.
"Bu-but why?"
"This is why."
With that Lily felt a surge of different memories pouring into her, but they
weren't her memories. They were of Tails' past, some memories of when he was
only 3 years old, also simple memories like his favorite food, his favorite
season, color, friends, when he first learned to fly, and so-on.
She now knew more things about Tails than she would of if she had grown up
with him. She knew Tails' life, his intrests, skills, struggles, pains, and
secrets that he wouldn't even tell Sonic.

Draco kept still, seconds turned to minutes. The silence was then
broken by a soft chuckle from Draco.
"My-my-my-my" He said taking his hands
off their heads.
"What's happenin?" Bunny asked.
"Nothing to worry about. They should both be fine pretty soon."
He left the hut chuckeling to himself. If Sally was a bit flustered before,
she was now in a looping roller-coaster of confusion. Sonic had it the worst,
his mind almost went into shock. Five minutes later, Tails and Lily stirred.
They blinked their eyes several times. They both had a peaceful expression on
their faces. Without speaking a word, they both got up, gave eachother a quick
hug, and left hand in hand. Sonic's jaw dropped open, he then fell forward
unconscious.
<1500 hours Power Ring Pool>
~ Dad ~ When Lily says Dad here she is refering to the man that found her as
an infant.
~ Programming Suit ~ Is a Highly advanced computer language used to make high
quality programs.
Lily sat next Tails typing away at NICOLE.
"How's it coming?" Tail asked looking over her shoulder.
"Almost there...Got it! NICOLE, run 'holonic.pro' and set halo-emitters to
full."
"Please wait, Lily... Program activated."
At that point the same figure that appeared earlier stood before them.
"Good afternoon Lily, anything you need?" the figure asked.
"Yes Nicole, could you please do a level 1 diagnostics test?"
"Of course...Testing now...diagnostics tests show all system functions are
100% operable, except for battery conserves."
Lily picked herself up, as did Tails.
"Now's the big test." she said to Tails.
He simply nodded in awe beings this was first time he's ever seen Lily's
program active.
"Nicole, please pick up your control unit and follow me."
Nicole slowly bent over her control unit where Lily placed it after activating
the program. Lily's muscles tensed up as Nicole put a hand at both sides of
the control unit. Then in one smooth quick motion she picked it up.
"ALRIGHT!" Lily yelled when she noticed that her program had finally decided
to work right.
Nicole put the unit in a pocket on her boot, much like Sally does. Lily
walked off towards Knothole with Tails and Nicole following close behind.
"Who do you think we should show Nicole to first?" Lily asked Tails as he
caught up with her.
"I think Sally would be an ideal person."
"Where is she?!" Sally asked herself angerly.
"I could've sworn I put her on the table.
"Hey Sally, ya got a moment?" Came Lily's voice from outside her hut.
"Uhhhhhh...Sure come-in."
Lily, Tails and Nicole walked in the door.
"You didn't say you had a visitor." Sally blushed noticing the condition of
her hut.
"There's no one here but me you haven't known practicly your whole life." Lily
said putting on the most innocent looking face she could muster.
Sally stared at the stranger. She seemed to become more and more confused.
{Hey Tails?}
{Yea Lily?}
{Think she's had enough?}
{Sure, I think that we'll have enough fun as it is telling everyone else.}
{Okay.}
Lily broke the connection, then turned her self to Nicole.
"Would you please identify yourself to our forgetful princess here?"
"Of course," she said in a soft, silky tone.
"I am NICOLE." she said in her usual monotone voice. Named by Princess Sally
Alicia Acorn, created by Sir Charels Hedgehog, running program "holonic.pro"
created by Lily S. Gold."
Sally stared so hard her eyes became like saucers.
"W-W-Wh-What did you say?" Sally stammered.
"Nicole, please end program, this is obviously to much for her."
"Yes Lily"
As being preprogrammed, Nicole bent over taking the control unit and setting
it on the ground. She then faded away.
"Sally stared into thin air for a long moment. She then looked at Lily, with
a strongly confused glance. She took a deep breath, but instead of getting
better, her eyes slowly rolled back, then fainted. Lily quickly jumped behind
her, in order to break her fall.
"OOOOPS, I think I missed."
"Oh really, where'd you come to that conclusion?" Tails asked sarcasticly
running to her side.
"Hey guys is Sal..." Sonic was cut off after entering and noticed Sally on the
floor.
"What happened!?" Sonic asked worridly.
"She uhhh...met someone." Lily answered not knowing -what- to say.
"Who?" Sonic asked suspiciously.
"Uhhhh... You remeber that hologram of Nicole you saw earlier?"
"Yeah" Sonic replied turning a bit pink.
"Well I just finished it's programming and I decided Sally should see it
first. So..."
Sonic waved his hand silencing her. "You need not continue. I had the same
expereince. I hope that program can perform check-ups, because I sure don't."
"NICOLE?"
"Yes Lily?" Please restart program and perform a medical check on Sally.
"Of course." Nicole said in her hologram voice after rematerializing.
She then bent over and picked up the unit and walked over to Sally.
"Please specify level of scan." Nicole asked facing Lily. She looked
questionly at Tails, who just shrugged his shoulders.
"Uhhhh...Refer to default"
Nicole turned back, waving the unit in slow even pace up and down her body.
"Commincing. Scans set to level five of ten."
"Really?!? Programming Suite?" Chuck asked Rotor in complete surprise.
"Yep, says she started learning before she was even five years old" Said Rotor
opening another candy bar.
"Geez! When I started into the technoledgy field I decided to take a course
on Programming Suite Ver1.1 . The only class that I bombed barely able to
pass with a C. But since the new versions have come out, they've probably
become easier to use. But still, a decent challange probably."
Rotor didn't seem to be paying attention.
"Rotor? Is something wrong?"
Rotor popped awake. "No not really."
Chuck read Rotor's worried expression on his face.
"Okay, out with it! Either that or make another lame excuse."
"Well...it's just that...How do I explain this?...ever since Lily and Draco
showed up, things seem to be more...more..."
"Let me guess. Things seem to good to be true. Right?"
"Yeah-that's it."
"Well my boy, in most cases they are. But remember: Keyword is 'most'."
"Thank you Uhhhh...Nicole." Sally said still not quite comfortable calling
the sweet, almost motherily squirrel by her computer's name.
Nicole just continued bandaging her up. Tails embraced Lily from behind,
catching Sally and Sonic's attention.
"Uhhh... You guys are keeping it under *control*, right?" Sally asked in a
concerned tone.
"Of course..."
Sonic and Sally sighed in relief.
"...just as *controlled* as you two were."
Sonic and Sally looked at each other uncomfortably as Tails and Lily left hand
in hand.
"Makes ya wonder what happened in that mind meld thingy." Sonic stated.
Sally just nodded her head.
"By the way Sonic, have you seen Draco anywhere around?"
"No, not since this afternoon."
<0900 Next week. At the Ring Pool. Tails remembered very little of the raid,
he couldn't remember casting any kind of spell, but to the wonder and
amazement of Draco, Tails usual powers had been some what enhanced.>
A large stone slowly begins to glow, steadily growing brighter, and brighter.
It becomes so dazzeling bright that it's onlookers are forced to look away. It
then started to pulsate, pumping like heart, slowly gaining speed, faster,
faster, faster. But when it comes to the brink of exploding, it slowly
dies back down leaving the rock charred.
"My!, you seem to have been practicing a pretty good deal." Draco commented
as Tails allowed the large rock to cool off.
A hawk swooped down, landing on Tail's head.
"Hey Lily!, Get off me. Your claws are sharp."
The hawk obediantly jumped off his head gliding to the ground. There it slowly
began to materialize, coming to form a pink female Echidna.
"Well, it seems to me that both of you are ready for your next spells, But
I'm afraid I can't teach you the 'Power Ball' spell like I promised.
"Why not!?!" Tails asked in great distress.
"That's where Sally comes in. While talking with her this morning, she had
taken upon herself to 'persuade' me into teaching you less spells of war, and
more healing spells. So this lesson should be somewhat new to both of you."
Draco showed the technique of healing simple scratches and punctures by taking
worms and cutting them in half, he then asked them to 'put them together'.
After about an hour Draco felt they had it down good enough to call it a day.
<1300 The War Room. Sally, Chuck, Rotor, Bunny, Tails, Antoine, Draco and
Lily are sitting around a table discussing an upcoming raid.>
"You called Sal?" Sonic asked
after picking up the door and placing it back on it's hinges. "
Yes I did, about 10 minutes ago." Sally shot.
"Well I was hungry."
"Which is more important?, the utter destruction and obliteration of Mobious
and all life on it? Or, your pity hunger?" Sally flared.
"Ohhhhh, that's puttin it evenly. Why can't we just skip all the boring
briefs and cut to the chase."
Sonic struck a cord, and could tell so from the dark, evil stare she had.
Sonic, without a word *walked* to the table and sat on a chair.
"Now that we're all here, we can now begin. It has come to our attention that
Sir Charels has been -possibly- discovered and is now on Robotnik's agenda.
Our goal is somewhat simple. One of us has to get Nicole/NICOLE to a computer
terminal, there she will break the security blocks, add Chuck's name to the
upgrade list, download some viruses provided by Rotor, then lock the system
back and leave it as it was. But in order to make sure the security blocks
don't notify Robotnik of her hacking, we'll have to keep him busy putting
all the computer's got to catch us, which leaves certain -vulnerable- systems
unprotected."
"Huh Sal, don't take this wrong, but why don't we just set-up Tails and Lily
and have them vaporize everything in sight, or better yet, why not set Tails
up with Lily's pendant thingy and have him hunt down Robotnik?"
"If you were here on time you would probably know why, but even then I doubt
it. Nicole..."
NICOLE started beeping and buzzing. The form 'Nicole' materialized beside
Sally.
"Yes Sally?" Nicole asked in her voice that Lily programmed her with.
"Nicole, could you please explain to our sorry excuse of a hedgehog."
Draco for the first time stared at Nicole: a subject Rotor and Charels had
talked to him about off and on, something about her seemed to pick at his
mind though.
"Of course Sal."
Nicole then went into a long detailed explanation.
"When Magic is called upon, the spell formed, then begins charging. Usually
taking energy from the Realm of Magic, but on larger spells, it's required
to take some energy directly from the body of the caster.
But as the caster grows more learned about wizarddry they should be able to
get more out of less. When Lily destroyed the 80 SWAT-BOTS during our last
raid, she had no real bounderys since she had never really had to be cautious
in her spell making. In the end she gave it all she had and then some, which
ended in complete exausgtion, and a mild coma. If this is to be done too often
it could possibly cause her to enter a full scale coma or even death. That
also follows through with Tails, but he can manage to get more power out of X
amount of energy than Lily can beings he has a more natural -link- to the
'Realm of Magic' But when Tails' combines his natural powers with Lily's
artificial means, not only is the magic power income doubled but his bodily
energy outcome is doubled also. If used to much, the brain will become use
to the 'High' it gives him and will slowly become more and more addicted to
it, and could cause certain death."
Sonic understood some of what she said, basically, he thought, there won't
be no more firework shows anytime soon.
"How bout you?" Sonic asked looking at Draco.
"I cannot do anything against the rules of my rank."
"Which are?..." Sonic asked.
The ones you need worry about is:
1: I may not join any battle between race, nation, beliefs, religion, etc.
2: I may not use my power to kill or injur any being in any way unless granted
permission by, or commanded by a higher rank caster.
3: I may not make a profit in any way for giving information.
4: I have the right to teach who I want to teach, so long as I have the
parents consent (If Student is Minor) and the student swears an oath of
secracy.
There are many other rules. But this is all you need to know for now.
The only time I'm allowed to act against the rules is when I have permission
from the elders. But I am however, allowed to help heal those that are
injured."
Sonic looked down in depression.
"Well, how much energy do you think Lily and can exert, safely?" Sally
questioned not wanting to here the answer.
"Well, let me think... It sounds like Lily used two, level 5 power-ball spells
to destroy the 80 Bots, am I close?" Lily nodded. "Then I suggest she use
Levels two and three, rarely do four, but do not use five unless you
**absolutely** must. Lily nodded again not saying anything.
"How about Tails?"
"What about Miles?"
"Will he be having limits?"
"Not really, he's forgotten pretty much everything about what happened during
your last raid including the extra powers. The only thing I can say right now
is: If you 'EVER' come in possession of Lily's pendant, 'DO NOT USE IT!' it
could mean your life."
Tails stared into Draco's eyes with awe. He snapped out of the trance when
Sonic set his hand on Tails' shoulder.
"Uhh...Lily?"
"Yes Sally?"
"Nicole's program still has a few glitches, could you possibly fix them."
"Sure, I'll run the debugger just before we leave for the raid."
<2100 hours. The bridge>
"Everyone here?" wispered Sally
"Where's Tails and Lily?"
"We're right here." Called Tails.
"You got the LCs ready?"
"Sure do, and there a little bit better than the old one's."
"How's that?" Sally asked absently.
"Well, not only can they be used as lights, but they double as hand gernades."
Sally instantly focused back on Tails. "I thought I told Draco not to teach
anymore battle spells!"
"He didn't!" Tails bursted, protecting his trainer.
"Lily and I taught ourselves." Sally sighed a bit.
"Fine, how do you use them?"
"They're basically the same as the old ones, but when your done with them,
just throw them at something and it will create a mild explosion, big enough
to put a SWAT-BOT out of commision, two if your lucky. Sally sighed again.
Sonic noticed something tugging at her mind. Sally took out NICOLE.
"NICOLE,"
Nicole appeared beside Sally casting a small glow around them.
"Yes Sally"
"Run level 2 System Test."
"Testing...Please wait." Nicole vanished, then numbers and messages appeared
where she was standing.

"Ummm...Nicole?" Sally asked taking a quick look. Nicole's form replaced
the System Test Program.
"Yes Sally?"
"Do you have any information on why my battery is being over used."
"Checking...The program 'HOLONIC.PRO' requires a great amount of energy to
run the holo emitters correctly to form a physical object."
"Any suggestions?"
"Use the 'HOLONIC.PRO' program sparingly." Sally grumbled a bit.
"Nicole, deactivate program "HOLONIC.PRO", and remove it from start-up list."
"Awknowledged."
Nicole disapeared. First from the feet, her face being the last disperse
leaving what Sally could've sworn to be a lonely feeling.
"Okay, ready to go?"
They all reply with just quick nods of their heads. Sally took an LC from
Tails finding it brighter than the last, and easier to activate.
"Okay then, head out."
Sally held her crystal high activating it after crossing the bridge, then led
them on. However one hedgehog held back at the end of the line talking with
a cyber-bunny.
"Hey Bun?"
"Yeah Blue Boy?"
"Am I so fast that my brain isn't keeping up or is Sally acting less than her
usual self?"
"You may be blue-lightn'en but I don't think it's your speed."
"Any ideas?"
"I haven't a clue. But I know how to find out." She pointed to Sally then
nodded to Sonic.
Sally was pulled back by two strong arms, one on each soulder.
"What the!?!..."
"Calm down Sal, it's only Bunny and I, we need to talk."
"Not right now Sonic."
"Yes, NOW!" Boomed Bunny's voice surprising Sonic right out of his way past
cool sneaks.
"Antoine?"
"Oui?"
"Sugah, could you please take the rest of the troop to the junk pile, then
wait for us?"
"Yes, Mad'mousiul." Antoine eyed them suspisciously, then took off down the
trail.
Sonic waited till they were out of sight. He put his hand on Sally's shoulder.
"Okay Sal, whats messin with your clockwork?" Sonic asked in a low tone.
"Huh...Nothing's wrong."
"My bunnie behind!" Bunny snapped grabbing both her shoulders from Sonic and
turning Sally to her.
"Now," Bunny said a little calmer.
"What's wrong?"
Bunny was surprised to see a tear weld up in her eye, then finally break free
and stream down her face.
"Tails is..."
"Tails is what?" Sonic asked taking Bunny's place.
"He's still ...young."
Things began falling in place for Bunny, but Sonic still wielded a an
expression of confusion.
"What are you talking about Sal? Tails is one of the best Freedom Fighters we
have now, especially with the use of his new powers." Sonic seemed to have
struck yet another cord, for as he finished his last sentance Sally broke down
in tears sobbing and sniffling uncontrolably.
"He-He shouldn't be fighting
in-in this this damned war." Sally began to wetten Sonic's shoulder
for a few silent moments, she then slowly recovered.
"He should be leading a life unpoisoned by the reign of Ivo, he shouldn't be
afraid to make new friends, but we can't afford the possibility of someone
stabbing him in the back. He should be going to school and learning things
like math, history, reading, and writing and preparing for his future wife and
children. Instead we teach him war and the making of weapons to kill, and so
far he can't even support himself alone. He should be allowed to grow up and
live a life of freedom. But instead, he's forced to live by the law of the
gun. Did you now he's never even heard of our Mobian religion 'Nomrom'?
That's still another vast new world for him, and he's still just tasting a few
of the many benefits -this- world once knew."
Sally broke down again sobbing just as much as before. Sonic sat down and
hugged her, queitly listening to her sob while petting back her auburn hair.
Bunny silently got up mouthing to Sonic to take all the time he needed, then
turned and crept off after the others.
<2200 hours. Beside what would appear to be a large pile of trash, scrap metal,
and many other things without use. The group of freedom fighters, save it be
Bunny, Draco, Rotor, Sonic and Sally, silenty grouped together.>
Tails approaches what looks like a junked hover craft door. He raises
his hand and knocks on it in a peculiar rythem. After a moment of no
response, they begin to here something moving behind the door as it slowly
opens, casting a sliver of light from inside.
"Ahhh Tails, you guys made it. But wheres...Sally and Sonic?"
"They'll be here soon." Came the voice of a breathless Bunny after jogging to
catch up. "They just need a few minutes alone."
"Well then, why don't you all come in? I got cocoa I can quickly warm up."
"Thank you," Tails said "But since when did you get a stove?"
Uncle Chuck didn't answer, but instead, stared curiously at the LC in Tails'
hand.
"Uhhh... Chuck?"
"Huh?..." Chuck popped back to reality.
"Oh, well, you work with what you got."
<10 Minutes Later>
"Mmmmmmm...This is good!" Complemented Lily.
"Where'd'ya learn to make such good hot chocolet?" Questioned Tails.
Charles chuckled a bit while holding the kettle up in one hand and, with a
blue flame torch, warmed it with the other hand.
"Well, there was actually a time when I got tired of chili-dogs.."
"NO-WAY?!" They all bursted out, cutting him off.
"Yep...that was about the same time when I fell..." Chuck trailed off.
Bunny noted Chuck's dark, grim expression.
"So, umm... Tails?"
"Yeah, uncle Chuck?"
"What were those light thingys you had?"
The way Chuck worded the question surprised Tails _and_ Bunny. Usually
Chuck was a very _detailed_ person.
"Well actually they're a little magical spell Lily and I cooked up before
coming here.
"May I see one?" Chuck asked after setting the kettle on the table.
"Of course."
Tails opened his back-pack and pulled out his red LC and handed it to him.
The moment Tails hand left the crystal, it's soft glow dispersed into nothing,
Chuck gave no sign of noticing it's sudden change, for he was still turning
it from side to side.
"How odd...How very odd indeed."
"What ez being very odd?"
Ignoring Antoine, Chuck made some motions, beckoning Tails to come closer.
Chuck took one of Tails' hands and set the LC in it. It instantly brighten to
it's original glow.
"Well...I give up!" Chuck grumbled throwing up his hands.
"What's wrong?" asked the confused two-tailed fox.
"That crystal is what's wrong!"
"*What's* wrong with the crystal?"
"I can't scan it."
"What do you mean you can't scan it?"
"Let's put it this way: If it wasn't for radioativity scanner I wouldn't of
even noticed it. But from what the scanner read, not only does it confuse me
but also defies half of all scientific theorys."
At that moment Chuck's terminal computer began flashing red and letting off a
squelch of buzzing. Chuck hopped on his rolo chair and rolled to the terminal.
"Hmm...What have we here?" Chuck asked himself after typing a series of
commands.
"What's wrong?" Came Sally's voice after she had let her self and Sonic in.
"Huh.. Oh well, apperntly we'er not the only ones who has called dibs on
Robotnik's attention."
"What do ya mean Unc?" Came Sonic's voice.
"Well tubby has about two hundered of his bots chasing a saboteur all over
Robotropolis."
Sally was behind him in a flash.
"According to the damage report " He contiued. "he scrapped about fifty-eight
Swat-Bots, shut-down a power-plant, and planted bombs in one of the
robotizing facility."
At the moment he finished a loud thundering boom filled the air.
"BY THE ALMIGHTY!!!" Chuck bursted jumping to his feet knocking Sally and
Sonic down.
"What is it?" Sally demanded jumping back up.
Chuck began typing on the keyboard at an alarming rate.
"That was *no* regular bomb." He said in awe. "It took more than a facility,
it took out the whole damned building, eighty stories and all with just a
single bomb."
"Wow!, he sounds like my type of guy Sonic said after picking him self up."
