Learn all about DarkSidhe

I'm what you might call a warrior, a lover, a wanderer… wait.. um... No. Never mind. That's the Highlander, not me. I can wish to be as pretty as Adrian Paul though, can't I? Anyway, here you will find tiny tidbits of info about myself, DarkSidhe, keeper of this realm. Not that it's fascinating stuff, but well… you're the one who clicked on the button, aren't you? My name is Crystal, and I am 5'3" with blue eyes, and very nearly senile at the early age of 23. I am the second born child in my family. I have two brothers and one sister. Bob, 26, Shelye, 18, and Kenny, 15. I also have two sister's in Law, Laura and Tammy, and one absolutely charming husband, James.

A man may smile, and smile, and still be a villain... Moi? An actor? Why yes. I suppose I have perfected the "Innocent look." Anyway, it's just a hobby. I also adore singing, and have become quite the prima donna at singing in the shower. My credits include Fiddler on the Roof, Antigone, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Much Ado about Nothing, The Pirates of Penzance, Par for the Corpse, Trojan Women, and I stage managed Bus Stop. I was also one of the founding members of the Salt Lake Community College's K-6 Players program. This program is designed to use creative theater in working with children in the local schools who are at a high risk of becoming involved in gang activity. Isn't it sad that many of those children don't know how to play? They have such bright futures, but don't know how to embrace the fun things in life. I can only hope that my own immaturity helped in some small way to show them how to have fun.

Art is another of my hobbies. Just something I love to do with my hands to pass the time. My favorite media is pencil, but I also occasionally work with charcoal, airbrush, and pen and ink. My favorite subject? People. What is more fascinating and mystical than the people surrounding us. I tend to add hidden qualities to my subjects at times… faerie wings, pointed ears, etc. And the work ends up looking like a cartoon when I'm in a strange mood. Sometimes it looks realistic. Sometimes I just draw Japanese Anime style. I guess it really depends. You can view some of my art on this website too. I also reside in gallery # 203 in Elfwood's Lothlorien Amateur artist site.

I know, I know. You're probably thinking it's a miracle. I have friends. I have to throw a special thank you to Darren for introducing me to these crazies who have pulled me into their grasp. Thanks Buddy! ^_^ We all enjoy going to SCA events, and role playing every weekend. Anyway, here is a pic of my best friend, Melissa. Isn't she lovely?
