WELCOME!

This is Luca's Commodore 64 Page.
The following is my games' Top Ten List. Click on the name near each image to download the game.
To play these games, you'll need a good C64 emulator for PC. You can download CCS64 here.

Fort Apocalypse Screenshot
Fort Apocalypse

Well, this was the first game I played on my C64.The day I bought the computer, I tested it with a cassette tape from a good friend. The result was love at first sight!Find out the secrets of Navatron... there are friends waiting for your help, deep in the mountain's heart!Rescue them and come back home. Fort Apocalipse is a religious choice, there isn't much to say. However, if you want to know more, have a look at Linus Akerlund's Fort Apocalypse FAQ.

The same good friend had lent me another tape with this wonderful game. But loading it was really difficult and I had to modify my tape recorder's azimuth (do you remember this word?) many times. At last I succeeded: LOADING, READY.Then my brother said "Let's run it!". "Wait!", I said, "We have to save it first!".What I've loved in Mr Robot is that you can create, play and save your own screens.

Squish'em ScreenShot
Squish'em

This was one on my first games, too. You must climb a building avoiding the contact with the strange creatures you see in the image. With the fire button you can squish them (!) for a little time, but only once. Besides, some objects fall into your head, but I won't tell you what... it's a surprise. If you try to discover who throws them... well, there's no way to know it. I think this is one of the misteries that make this game a magic journey into the past...

Attack of The Mutant Camels Screenshot
Attack of The Mutant Camels

Do you remember Jeff Minter? Well, the author of this game was persecuted by camels. The game is simple: you must arrest the walking of these dangerous giants. But It won't be easy. They shoot at you and, sometimes, the shots follow your path, wherever you go...

Impossible Mission Screenshot
Impossible Mission

Lost in an enemy base with many different rooms, you need to collect as many informations as you can about the base. I love this game but I've never played for much time. I must admit that what captured me was the fluidity of our hero's movements, especially the jumps. See those robots? Well, they're very dangerous and like to send you lovely electric discharges.

Elite Screenshot

Elite was the game I more played, absolutely! The 3D C64 game. You are a space trader and your mission is to earn money (credits) and improve your combat rating. There are many goods you can trade, even illegal, as slaves and drugs! You can get rich quickly with them, but the Police won't leave you alone. Meanwhile, watch out for pirates trying to destroy your ship and steal your precious cargo! You can do the same to their ships, too. The space is really infinite and you can trade between thousands of planets and know the taste of liberty.

Dig-Dug Screenshot
Dig-Dug

This was one of those glorious arcade games. I remember I used to play it in a bar some years before buying my C64 computer. You must dig underground to get points. But Pooka and Fygar don't like you and will try to keep you underground forever. Fortunately, you can inflate them one, two, three times until they explode! Dragon is very dangerous, he likes to spit fire on you, but only in an horizontal path. Also, these "friends" can move underground without digging, like ghosts.

Frogger Screenshot
Frogger

So you think it's easy to get to the other side of a street, right? Well, just help the little white frog to go home. You'll have to traverse a river too. In Frogger everything moves and you must be very fast. But you're not alone! A very friendly music (one of the most famous musics in C64 games) will be your shelter in those sad moments. But don't forget your mission! The frog can't wait while you listen to the music. Just listen and run...

FGTH Screenshot
Frankie Goes To Hollywood

I'll start saying that I've been a great FGTH fun. So I began playing this game with enthusiasm. Then I discovered that this was a great detective game. But, as it happens with some great games, maybe too great for me, I didn't continue it. Now I am playing it again and I must say that the set of informatios you collect about some people is simply perfect! What has always impressed me is that the hero seems to be completely alone, which sometimes is good.

Space Taxi Screenshot
Space Taxi

Tired of living in the same place for much time, you decide it's time to get a space taxi and know many people from different places. I've always liked this game's sceneries. You must take all the people you meet to different platforms in a same screen and, finally, "Up, please", to get to the next screen. There is an interesting fuction to randomly select this next screen. The taxi is initially difficult to drive, especially in the landing phase. But you learn quickly.
