HSAPS is a Oracle back-end solution with IBM WebSphere middleware, available on the Internet. The system has over 3,000 users - central, district, middle school and high school personnel, as well as students. The implementation involves J2EE architecture with servlets and JSPs providing the user interface, as well as extensive back-end processing. The system has data interfaces with a number of other public school systems, exchanging large amounts of data on weekly basis.

Directly responsible for the back end implementation, database design, SQL&PL/SQL processing, interfaces with other systems. As a technical lead, involved in the creation of the J2EE system architecture and implementation.

The system consists of J2EE implementation using IBM WebSphere Application Server and interfaces through CORBA with other Prudential systems.

The system is intended for use by specific corporate departments throughout Europe, and has close to 3,000 users. It’s engineered on a UNIX-based Oracle 8i database, with Oracle Application Server providing the web middleware content. The system has interfaces to other HP systems through data feeds.

Directly involved in the system architecture and database design. Responsible for the overall development using SQL, PL/SQL, Java and generating HTML/JavaScript content.
