Karmis's Castle: A Beginner's Guide to GS3

So..... you want to know how to do many things in Gemstone 3. Well come in and take a seat. Warm yourself by the fire while I get some hot cocoa. Oh, I'm sorry did you want some? Good, I'll get you some hot cocoa. One minute please. here you are. There are many things you can do. I am old and very wise. I will tell you all I know. To buy something you must be in a store if you are TYPE: Order (to buy something).
If you buy something and it is in a package. TYPE: Open (my) package.
To take something out of your open package. TYPE: Get (item) out of my package.

To attack TYPE: Attack (creature).
Sometimes when you try to attack with your weapon you punch the creature instead.
To see what is in your hands TYPE: Glance.
Your weapon always needs to be in your right hand to attack with it.
If your weapon is in your left hand TYPE: Swap (this will swap what is in your right and left hands).

To sell something that you possess to another player TYPE: Exchange (item) with (player) for (value) silver (s).
If you are offered an object and you like the price TYPE: Accept (within 30 seconds).
If you do not want that object TYPE: Decline.
If you can not find someone to buy it go to the pawnshop and TYPE: Sell (item).

To buy something you must have money and to make money you must go to the Moot Hall. Once you are in the Moot Hall TYPE: G0 office.
Once you are in the office TYPE: Ask clerk for job.
Usually he will hand you a message and tell you where to deliver it to. Write down where you are supposed to take it to.
When you make it to that place TYPE: Give message to (creature).

TIP: Get maps of Wehnimer,T he Catacombs, and The Wilds

To gain experience points you must kill creatures.

To find out how much health you have TYPE: Health.
To find out how much money you have TYPE: Wealth.

Sometimes a person will ask you to join them to do so TYPE: Join (person).
Sometimes a person will try to join you if they cant and you want them to TYPE: Group open.
If you want to prevent people from joining you TYPE: Group close.
If you want to leave a group TYPE: Withdraw.
