A few codes and tips.




WHOLE GAME ACCESS: Press Up and Start on the second joypad, then turn on the Sega. Keep the buttons pressed until the Sega logo comes up. Now press A and C (while still holding Up and Start) and press Start on the first joypad to begin the game.
When Simone appears on the options screen, carry on from where you left off and perss A, B, or C. A= Chapter select. B= Battle select. C= End of the game. Important: You can't save your game while using this cheat. Note: As of yet I haven't been able to get this cheat to work. It may not work on American versions of Shining Force. If you get it to work please let me know.



RENAME CHARACTERS: This one works for sure!!! Start a new game and enter your Main Character's name. Now highlight END and press the following buttons: On Controller 2 hold A,B,C, and press Start. At the same time but on Controller 1 press A,C, and Start together. You'll then have another person appear on the screen for you to name (You don't have to press all of those buttons each time). After the first just END it like you would regularly). The cheat will NOT take effect untill after you have Ken, Tao, Hans, and Luke have joined. Lowe should be the first one to appear with a different name.
