Panama .lib file/Mission File

This one came about as a result of me trying to build a Panama mission set. I was busy tooling around in the Pro Mission Creator when I noticed the acute *lack* of a Panama Canal on the map. Great work, EA. I tried to figure out a way to build a Panama canal, but gave up after about five minutes of straining my brain.

Some months later...

I was playing through Wrench's awesome Wingman misisons, when I came across an interesting find; he'd built the Panama Canal out of re-coloured road tiles. I immediately thought two things. "This Angry Badger Wrench is a pure unmittigated genius and worthy of my worship! I humbly offer this fat-free yoghurt to him!" The second thing was, of course, "Why didn't I think of this before now?"

So I went ahead and sledged out a Panama Canal, made out of re-coloured road tiles, using an atlas, a National Geographic or two and blind guesswork as a reference. I then added a couple of other small things that EA had missed (Panama city...) and went to work. It turned out pretty spiffy, I think.

How do I use this, you may ask.

It's simple; load the mission (panama.m) in the Pro Mission Creator. Turn "other" objects on and take a look-see. You can also play the mission and whiz along the canal at Some Speed. You can use it as a template for your own missions; simply delete the Phantom and put all your own stuff in (Oh and save it under anbother name). The .lib file contains the recoloured road chunk you'll need to make the Canal work (Otherwise, it looks like a coast-to-coast highway that begins - and ends - in the middle of the ocean). The .lib is importable if you want it.

So go ahead and knock yourselves out.
