Nester's Funky Bowling

Nester's Funky Bowling is a surprisingly fun bowling simulation starring the long lost and much missed Nester. Nester, for those of you who don't remember was a comic character who appeared in Nintendo Power a while back when they only had the NES featured in it. The comic was actually kind of cool, but like many other Nintendo comic characters, like Captain N, disapeared as "better" stuff was pumped out by Nintendo.

Apparently, Nester has a sister, named Hester, who is also in the game. The game is pretty simple. You have a power meter to determine how hard you bowl the ball and an aiming meter to determine where the ball goes. The detailed animations and humorous movies for strikes add to the game's appeal. The music is pretty crappy, though. You can choose between two different tunes, both of which are fairly annoying. Fortunatly, this doesn't take away from the games fun factor, since you really don't really pay too much attention to the annoying melodies.

This is a great game and is highly recommmended.
