While playing Pokémon,I found some cool tricks and codes for the game!Some codes or tricks may not work in some areas like in Viridian Forest,or the Safari Zone.Most of these tricks only work on Routes.But,I must admit,most codes below I found on web sites.

If you ever get sick of PokeMon running into you while going threw grassy areas,CUT the grass!If you have a Pokémon with you that knows HM1 (CUT) and you have the Cascade Badge,just push START while facing or on grass and select PKMN.Now,select the Pokémon that knows CUT,and select CUT.It will say "(Pokémon's name) hacked away with CUT!".Now,you'll see four leaves fly around and CUT some of the grass!

Just like Giovanni's TM27,this fool prof trick isn't always fool prof!If you hold down a combonation of either A and B,B and up or just A you get more chance of catching Pokémon!Try it on Snorlax,Articuno,Moltres,Zapdos and hard-to-catch Pokémon in the Safari Zone.

This trick let's you give tons of experiance points to the six Pokémon you're carrying and gives you over 30,000 yen each time you do it!Just beat the Elite 4 and Gary over and over and over again!It's fun to do and it would be easyer to get your Pokémon to their best.Also,since some Pokémon like Porygon and some TMs can only be found in places where you have to spend a lot to get in or to get the Pokéon you need.

Game Genie & Game Shark Codes

The new PokeBall,the B2F isn't the best,but it should do the job to catch those weaker Pokémon.After buyying at least 10 PokeBalls from Viridian City PokéMart,enter this Game Genie code;

This rare and invisible Pokémon can never fight,learn moves or have a page in your PokéDex,but you can ride him!Go to the Vermillion City PokéMart and save.Now,enter this Game Genie code;

To buy and use SafariBalls out of the Safari Zone,type anyone of the following Game Genie codes and go to the PokeMart in the city beside the code;

Type in this code to catch a Mew!If you use Game Genie,go to the feild on Route 4 (West of Cerulean City) and you will find a L10 Mew.If it uses Transform before you catch it though,it will come out as a Ditto.Try to make it sleep and throw an UltraBall at it after weakening it.If you used Game Shark,Mew will look all screwed.You catch Mew anywhere.Try to catch it on Route 1,since it wouldn't have learned Transform yet.And if you use the Start with Mew code,every time someone attacks will be screwed.This will work with any PokeMon you start off with.Just cure it at a PokeCenter than save your game.When you turn it back on everything will be OK!

Submitted Codes/Tricks

Very simple.After getting the flyying HM from a girl go to the Safari Zone.Pay the cash and go along with the game,but before your time is up,make sure you're in grass.After you're done,leave the building and FLY to either Cinnabar Island or SURF to the SeaFoam Islands.Now,SURF up and down the right coast of either island so you're have on land and half in the water,aaaaaand,WOW!Look at all the PokeMon!
WaRnInG:If Missingno. or "M" appears,I highly recomend NOT to catch or even fight with it.If cought,your music,hall of fame and even PokeMon graphics will screw up.Using the RUN comand is the safe way out.

Go to a bush that you can cut down and use CUT.Stand on the spot where the bush used to be and save your game.Now turn your Game Boy off.Turn it back on and continue your game.You will be on the plant you cut down untill you walk off of it!:o

And when you go to get an item from someone who drops it,like Giovanni or that Rocket with the Lift Key,stand where they will drop the item.After they droped it,move and you would have standed on an item!:)

YOU can fish in gyms by going to a statue and using any type of rod. its true i tested it.
