?????: "Bulbasaur! Go!"
Bendlin: "Ahhhhh!! Please!! No!!"
?????: "It's not my fault you don't have a Pokémon yet!! Ha ha ha, Bulbasaur, Vine Whip!"
Bulbasaur: "Bulba!!"
Bendlin: "Ow! Make it stop! Make it stop!"
Bulbasaur attacks Bendlin with a feirce Vine Whip attack. Yelling in pain, Bendlin jumps up and runs, hiding from the Bulbasaur and it's evil trainer.
?????: "Now where did that little brat go?,...(Looks around behind empty boxes and garbadge cans in the dark ally),...Oh well, we'll get 'em later. Return, Bulbasaur. Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha haa."(Runs down the street.)
Bendlin: (Shivering),...,...,..."I'll show him.",...,...,..."I'll get my own Pokémon."
Bendlin walks threw the streets after the trainer was long gone. Looking carefuly around from behind buldings and small crowds of people for the trainer to jump out at him again. He finaly got past the main part of Celadon City and back to his street. He ran back to his house and up to his room, trying not to wake them. "Always be back home before 9 0'clock." his mother would always say. "That's about the time when they close all the bars and those drunkin fools come out. Some of them are dangerous." It was far past midnight before he got to sleep.
The next day, Bendlin came downstairs as usual for breakfast, but was about to get something more than that.
Mother: "Bendlin."
Bendlin: ,..."Yes mother?"
Mother: "You have a letter from Professor Pine. He wants to give you something."
Bendling: (Eyes glowing)"Professor Pine?! He's one of the four best Pokémon professors in the world!! But what would he want to give me?"
Mother: "Well you'll never find out if you don't hurry to he lab on top of the Game Freak Co. Building if you stand here all day woundering what it is he wants to give you. Hurry up and go."
Bendlin runs out the door before his mother could even say good bye. The morning was always the buisiest time of day in Celadon. Trying to get threw the crowds and not being hit by a hover car or bike was hard work for bendlin, but finaly he got to the the ally he was heading to. Past the ally and behind many high buildings. He finaly got the the back of the Game Freak Co. Building. Right there between four trees was the back entrance and the door to Professor Pine's lab. He walked inside and the had to climb five stories of stairs untill he finaly reached the roof top. There, he walked up to the small building on the roof and walked in the door. Inside, Professor Elm was studying and testing a Lickitung's poisones tung. Bendlin walked over to him.
Bendlin: "Hay Professor Pine! What did you want me for?"
Prof.Pine: "Wha, Who? Oh, hi Bendlin. I've been expecting you. I have found out that Eevee has two new evolved forms, but I do not know how to make an Eevee evolve into them. One is a Psychic type, and the other is some sort of new type. I was woundering, since you're so found of Pokémon,"
Bendlin: "Yes?!"
Prof.Pine: (Slaps Bendlin on the face with a nearby paper fan)"Let me finish boy. As I was saying, could your take my only Eevee and come back once you have made it evolve?"
Bendlin: (Giant glowing eyes)"YOU MEAN I CAN HAVE MY VERY OWN EEVEE?! EEVEE IS MY FAVOURITE POKéMON OF ALL TIME!! OF COURSE I'LL TAKE IT!!!!"
Prof.Pine: "Great! Wounderful!(Goes and gets a PokéBall and hands it to Ben)Well, here it is! Take good care of it! I think that Eevee can evolve by getting to a certon level, but I'm not totaly sure. Just remember, try to make it evolve asap!"
Bendlin: "Thank you so much Professor Pine."
Bendlin puts Eevee into his backpack and heads back home just as Professor Pine learns a very important lesson; NEVER IGNORE A LICKITUNG. Lickitung gives Professor Pine a nice, big Lick attack. Back at Bendlin's house, Bendlin explains it all the his mother.
Mother: "Oh Bendlin, you're 14 now. I guess I could let you go on your journey. But remember to always be safe and that there's strength in numbers, so try to atch more Pokémon to help you. I'll give your this map of the world so you won't get lost. If you check on your map, you can see that you can go to either Lavander Town, Vermillion City, Curuelian City or Fuschia City from here. Remember to keep safe."
Bendlin: "I will mother. Bye now."
Bendlin slowly walks out the door holding Eevee's PokéBall. When he gets outside, he jumps onto his hover board and glides away towards Curuelian City since i's near Mt.Moon, since he figures that maybe Eevee can evolve using a Moon Stone.
