"Rae-ann!! Your friends are here!!" Rae-ann mom yelled from the bottom of the stairs as Lizzi, one of her two friend who were in town visiting from the States.

"Send them up!!" Rae-ann yelled back down.

"Hey I am here." Lizzi said as she got to Rae-anns bedroom door, "Lana is in the car waiting." They three girls were planing on going upwards on the island for the day. Rae-ann had mentioned a beach that was on the west side of the island that was absolutely beautiful, so they decided to make a day trip out of it.

"Why didn't she come in also?" Rae-ann ask as she walked over to the window and looked out and waved at Lana who was sitting in the car blasting the radio, which had N Sync on at the moment.

"She wanted you to hurry, so she didn't bother coming in so you would be faster." Lizzi said going though Rae-ann closet, "Hey you should wear this shirt." She turned to Rae-ann and was holding a shirt the was just a front and that tied up in the back.

"Okay. I might as well. I am already wearing my bathing suit and we are going looking for guys." Rae-ann took the shirt and changed quickly so Lana didn't have to wait to long.

"Rae-ann!!" It was her mom again, "Another friend is here."

"Okay!!" She yelled down, "Lana must have been getting tired of waiting huh?" Rae-ann asked Lizzi.

"Yeh well you ARE taking a long time." Lizzi said to her and then laughed.

"Hey girl, going to the beach without me?" It was her friend Justin, they had known each other for awhile now. He was in a group called N Sync and him and the other guys were up visiting her.

"Justin! Hey, yeh of course I am going without you! what else." Rae-ann said and then turned to Lizzi, "Oh Justin this is my friend Lizzi, Lizzi this is, well you know, Justin."

They both said him and then Lizzi went to Rae-ann, "And you never told us?"

"Told what?" Justin asked, even though he knew she was talking about him and the other guys.

"Oh gee, sorry. I guess it slipped my mind." Rae-ann said feeling sorry, considering Lizzi and Lana WERE two of her closest friends.

"So what do you say?" Justin asked.

"About what?" Rae-ann asked turning to him.

"Us guys going with you girls. Lance and I could drive. We do have our vehicles here, they fit more." Justin started. "Please...." He was now begging and hugging Rae-ann. Rae-ann and Justin were really good friends. They were like best friend or even like brother and sister.

"Well I don't know. It was going to be a day for us girls. Lizzi what do you think?" What a question to ask her. Of course she was going to say yes!

"Oh yeh that sound cool. Um, where are the other guys?" Lizzi said.

"Oh they are at the hotel still. I was just coming over here to see what Rae-ann was doing today and see if she wanted to hang out with us." Justin said.

"Okay well lets go tell Lana and then go to the hotel and make all the plans there, considering everything is changed." Rae-ann suggested and they headed out of the room.

Justin was the first at the stairs and Rae-ann was right behind him with Lizzi right after her. "Oh, wait." Rae-ann said. "Justin stop."

He stopped and asked, "Why?" Rae-ann simply answered but telling him to keep his balance and she jumped on his back. "Oh gee, not another piggy back."

They made their way down the stairs and Rae-ann got off she could put her shoes on. Once they were out side Justin asked Lizzi, "So who is your fave?"

Rae-ann answering for Lizzi quickly said, "You and Lance. And Lana liked JC. Haven't I told you think before, or do you ignore me all the time?"

After that they went out and explained to Lana what was going on. Lizzi and Rae-ann got into the car with Lana and the followed Justin to the hotel him and the others were staying at. They followed Justin into the underground parking lot and he showed them where to park. Once they were all out of their vehicles they met by the door. "Lizzi, can I talk to you for a second?" Justin asked. "Rae-ann you and Lana wait for us in the elevator."

When Rae-ann and Lana turned and walked into the elevator area Lizzi turned to Justin, "What do you want to talk about?"

"Okay I know you like Lance, but he likes Rae-ann and I was wondering if you would be upset at all if I tried setting them up? See he was talking in his sleep last night that's how we found out he did. And any ways you have me!" Justin smiled at Lizzi.

"Yeh I don't mind. But do you know if Rae-ann likes Lance?" Lizzi questioned, even though she knew Rae-ann did like Lance a bit. They had talked about it a lot. Rae-ann even wrote a story about what she wanted to do with Lance in full detail. Which Lizzi had read.

"Well see I don't know if Rae-ann likes him so I am just going to chance it. And any ways they get along good so I think she might. Who knows." Justin said as he went for the door so they could get up stairs.

Once inside the elevator where Rae-ann and Lana were waiting Justin and Lizzi joined um. Justin just looked at Rae-ann and laughed. "WHAT?" She asked as she looked up at him.

"Oh nothing. Just thinking." Justin said and laughed again. "Hey how would you like it if I set you up with someone in the group. One of the guys likes you."

"Justin stop lying." Rae-ann said. Justin was always messing with her.

"No Rae-ann, he telling the truth. He told me." Lizzi said.

"Okay fine who is it?" Rae-ann asked seeing what he would say.

"Lance." That was all Justin said.

"Lance?" She questioned and then looked at Lizzi cause she knew Lizzi also liked Lance.

"Oh I am cool with it! That's what Justin was talking to me about." Lizzi said knowing what Rae-ann was thinking.

"So what do you say Rae-ann. He really dose like you. We found out this morning so." Justin said again. Trying to get Rae-ann to say yes.

"Well I don't know." Rae-ann said. "Are you sure its a good idea?" Just as she said that the elevator opened. "Well okay," She started as they were walking down the hallway, "but only if Lance makes the first move. I don't want to look like an ass!"

"Great I will talk to him." Justin said as they reached he door. He opened it and they all walked in to find JC, Joey and Lance watching tv. Chris was over on the phone with his girlfriend Stephanie back in Orlando.

Rae-ann was good friends with Stephanie. She walked over to Chris and gave him a hug and said hi to Stephanie through the phone. She made her way to the other guys and said hi to JC and Joey and gave um a hug and kiss. She saw Justin was talking to Lance already so she didn't want to go bother them. She turned to the girls and introduced them to JC and Joey. She notice JC was checking out Lana and she quietly turned to JC and whispered "Yes she likes you." And that made JC smile. Justin was still talking with Lance but she walked over anyways. "Hey Lance, are you hiding from me?" When she said that they both stopped talking.

"No Justin was just talking to me." Lance said as he leaned down to give her a hug and kiss. This time everyone knew Lance liked Rae-ann. But Lance didn't know that Rae-ann also like him.

"Lance these are my friend Lana and Lizzi." She said after their hug. The girls and Lance exchanged hellos.

By now Chris was off the phone with his girlfriend and he joined everyone who were standing around trying to figure out the driving arrangements.

"Well Lance and I will use our vehicles. But I still need to talk to Lance." Justin said.

"How about this," Rae-ann started, "Joey can drive Lances 4-Runner. And Justin can drive his own. Justin, Lance, Lana and Lizzi can go in Justin, and Joey, JC, Chris and I can go in Lances. then we can stop in Parksville. We can get some ice cream there and go from there if anyone wants to change vehicles."

"That's a good idea Rae-ann." Justin said as he started to walk to the door and everyone else followed.

Once they were all down in the parking area they split up and all got into the vehicles.

After Rae-ann, Chris JC and Joey got into Lances vehicle, Chris turned to Rae-ann who was sitting next to her and said, "Guess who likes you?"

"Um, you? You sexy stud?" Rae-ann said jokingly.

"No," JC said from the front passengers seat. "Lances does."

"Oh well I knew that one." Rae-ann said making it sound like she knew longer then the guys.

"You know what? For how long?" JC asking sounding really shocked.

"Oh only since when Justin told me in the elevator this morning on our way to the room." Rae-ann said.

"So," Joey started, "Do you like Lance?"

"What? Just because someone likes me doesn't mean that I would like him." Rae-ann said and then paused, "Okay I do like him."

"Aww, how cute, Rae-ann and Lance." Chris said.

"So Lance. How are you going to make you first move." Justin asked Lance as he was sitting in the seat right behind. Lizzi had called shot gun for the whole trip.

"I don't know. I don't even know if she likes me so I don't know what to do." Lance complained. No one had gotten around to telling Lance that Rae-ann liked him like he liked her.

"Just be extra nice to her." Lizzi suggested.

"Do you think that will work?" Lance said being totally willing to go with that idea.

"Of course it will." Lana said reassuring him.

Lance just sat back with a smile thinking about all of it. Then Justin spoke up as he pulled into a parking spot by the beach in Parksville. "Okay we are in Parksville. Everyone one out."

As they stepped out, Joey pulled into the spot next to Justin and everyone got out. The first thing Joey said was, "Where’s Dairy Queen?"

As everyone laughed at Joey he took their orders. Justin and Lance got Strawberry Sundays, JC and Chris got Butterscotch Sundays, And the girls got cones. Rae-anns cone was dipped with butterscotch and Lana and Lizzi's was chocolate, and who know what's Joey was going to get. With that Joey ran up the hill toward Dairy Queen to get everyone ice cream for them. While he was gone Rae-ann and Chris started to tell really stupid jokes like,

A Man walks into a bar.... OUCH!

A Horse walks into a bar, the bartender asked ‘Why the long face?’

And Rae-anns favourite, that she told Chris, MANY times...

Once day a second grade class had a substitute. Once the bell ringed
she noticed that there were three empty seats. A few mins a girl walked
in. The teacher asked why she was late, she answered, "Sorry I was
blowing bubbles." The teacher just asked her to sit down. A few more mins
went by and another girl came into the class and had answered the same
when asked why she was late. The teacher got annoyed and asked her
to sit down. After a few more minutes a little boy walked in. The teacher
asked why he was late. When he didn’t have any excuse. He then was
asked to take his seat and was asked what his name was. He then answered,
"I’m Bubbles."

Everyone was laughing enjoying Chris and his joke telling. They didn't notice Joey was back. everyone got what they wanted and sat around talking. Justin knew Rae-ann loved Strawberries but didn't want a Sunday, so he would tease her with the Strawberries. "Come on Justin. Just one please?" She asked.

‘Well okay, but just one." Justin said. He had one on the spoon and walked over to her. It was right near her and as she was going to take it into her mouth Justin pulled the spoon away and placed it into his own mouth.

"Justin that was mean." Lance said who was standing next to Rae-ann.

"Yeh Justin that was mean!" Rae-ann agreed with Lance. Then Justin gave Lance a look.

Lance then realized what he was getting at. Lance also had a Strawberry Sunday. "Here," Lance said as he got a strawberry on the spoon, and placed it in front of Rae-ann for her, "You can have one of my strawberries."

Rae-ann took the strawberry. Once she was done eating it she turned to Lance, "Thank you Lance." Then she turned to Justin, "See Lance knows how to share, unlike some people I know!" She knew what was going on and was thanking Justin in her mind every minute, and Justin new it to by the smile across her face.

While this was all going on Lana and JC were having their own little conversation, so was Lizzi and Justin, and Joey and Chris ran over to the kiddie playground and were acting like five years old. By now everyone had joined them in the playground. Justin and Lizzi ran over to join Chris on the merry-go-round. JC and Lana were sitting on a bench still talking and Rae-ann was standing with Lance when she grabbed him hand, "Come on, lets go to the swings." With that they both walked to the swings, still holding hands.

Over on the merry-go-round it had slowed down and they were just sitting and giggling when Justin noticed Rae-ann and Lance holding hands. "Hey Lizzi, check that out." He said while pointing in their direction.

Lizzi grabbed Justin hand and pushed it down. "Don't point. They will notice we are watching."

"Hey Lance, look, Justin's watching." Rae-ann said as they sat side by side on the swings.

Lance looked over in the direction where Justin was, "How can you tell? He not looking over here."

"Well he was just pointing at us till Lizzi pushed his hand down." Rae-ann explained.

"Oh okay," Lance started then looked down at the ground. "Did Justin, um. . . tell you. . ." then he trailed off.

"Tell me what?" Rae-ann asked and then though, "Um, did Justin, tell. . . you. . ."

Lance just looked up at her. They looked at each other blankly and then they started to move closer to each other. They were only inches away from each other.

"Oh my gawd!" Lizzi yelled as she grabbed Justin's arm, "Justin look!!"

Everyone one was not standing at the bench where Lana and JC were and everyone looked over in Rae-ann and Lances direction to see that they were just about to kiss.

"Yeh!! It worked." Justin said feeling very impressed with what he had done.

"What you planned that?" Joey asked.

"Well, when we found out Lance liked Rae-ann, I asked her if she liked him and she said she never really thought about it but she would take a chance ONLY if he made the first move. So that's when I talked to Lance back in the room and told him to make a move." Justin explained.

"So Rae-ann knew Lance liked her?" Chris asked trying to make sense of the situation.

"Yep." Justin answered.

"Hey I got a question," Lana started, "Do you know how long Lance has liked Rae-ann? I know you just found out today but do you know how long he has liked her and not said anything."

"Yeh we asked that and it turns out he has like her since we met her, and that has been almost a year." JC answered and then looked at his watch. "Hey guys, its like 12:30. We better start heading to Long Beach if we want to spend some time there."

With that everyone started to head over to Rae-ann and Lances direction.

They got closer to kissing and it seemed as everything had slowed down. Finally their lips touched and both closed their eyes. "OMG!!!" Rae-ann though to herself.

"Oh wow, this is better then I ever thought!" Lance said to himself in his head as he raised his hand up to Rae-anns face.

"Oh wow!!" That's all that Rae-ann could say to herself. When he touched her she melted.

After a few minutes, even though it seemed like hours to Rae-ann and Lance, they were interrupted. "Um, guys. . ." It was Justin. Rae-ann and Lance separated, but Lances hand was still on Rae-anns neck. "We REALLY hate to say this but, we are ready to go to Long Beach now."

"That's nice." Rae-ann said as she turned back to Lance and started to kiss him again.

"No really you two. We are going and same with both of you." Chris said.

Rae-ann and Lance then separated again, and this time Lance got up and took Rae-anns hand in his helping her up so they could go. "So what's the seating arrangement for this trip?" Rae-ann asked.

"Well, how about this," Chris started as they stopped at both vehicles. "Justin, Lizzi, JC and Lana go in Justins. And Joey can drive Lances vehicle, I will get the front passenger, considering Lance and Rae-ann will want to be alone they can have the back seat."

"Oh shut up Chris." Rae-ann shot at him while everyone laughed.

"Well Rae-ann you cant expect Lance to drive with you attached to his lips now can we?" Chris said which made everyone laugh more except Rae-ann and Lance. And with that everyone got into the vehicles. Rae-ann and Lance got talking(yes talking) in the back of his 4-Runner as they headed up island to long beach.
