This is the "quick-n-dirty" way to get through the game. No
explanations; just follow the instructions.
SECTION I:
CHECK DOOR FOR BEETLE. GO UPSTAIRS. CHECK DRAWERS FOR BEETLE.
OPEN DRAWER 'I'. GET PAPER. GET KEY FROM FIREPLACE. GO
DOWNSTAIRS AND PUT PAPER IN THE BOWL ON TABLE. UNLOCK DOOR. BOX
PUZZLE MUST READ NUMBERS '78'. PULL LEVER FIRST TIME TO NUMBER
7. THEN PULL LEVER AGAIN TO NUMBER 1. GET RING. GO BACK
UPSTAIRS. OPEN DRAWER 'IV' THEN DRAWER 'II'. GET HANDLE. GO TO
KEG ROOM. USE HANDLE ON KEG. USE RING ON DOOR.
SECTION II:
CHECK DESK FOR BEETLE. TURNING PUZZLE SOLUTION IS (FROM TOP,
CLOCKWISE) CHICKEN, RABBIT, DEER, HORSE. GO TO LIBRARY. GO TO
NEXT ROOM. GET GOLD KEY. GO BACK TO TURNING PUZZLE ROOM. USE
GOLD KEY ON DESK. GET BOOK. GO BACK TO LIBRARY. CHECK BOOKCASE
FOR BEETLE. USE BOOK ON BOOKCASE.
SECTION III:
USE CRANK TO MAKE ROOM REVOLVE. LIST OF ROOMS IS AS FOLLOWS:

4. TREASURE CHEST ROOM

6. ASTROLOGY PUZZLE
7. STAINED GLASS ROOM

START OUT AT 1; GOES BACK TO 1 AFTER 12. GO TO HALL OF KNIGHTS.
KNIGHT BATTLE SEQUENCE. FAIL FIRST MOVE TO FALL DOWN HOLE.
CHECK FOR BEETLE. GO UP TO CONTINUE KNIGHT BATTLE. DIRECTIONS
ARE LEFT, RIGHT, LEFT, SPACE. GET SWORD. GO TO ASTROLOGY
PUZZLE. USE SWORD ON DOOR. GO UPSTAIRS. TURN CRANK TO ARROW-
SYMBOL. LOOK IN TELESCOPE. TURN CRANK TO WATER-SYMBOL. LOOK IN
TELESCOPE. GO DOWNSTAIRS. PRESS GREEN BUTTON ON SAGITTARIUS
STATUE. PRESS LIGHT-BLUE BUTTON ON AQUARIUS STATUE. CHECK
FOUNTAIN FOR BEETLE. GO TO TREASURE CHEST ROOM. GET GUN. GO TO
STAINED GLASS ROOM. SHOOT GLASS WITH GUN.
SECTION III:
GO TO END OF HALL. GET BEETLE. GO TO MIDDLE OF HALL. TURN
RIGHT. PUSH WALL FOR WHEEL PUZZLE. PULL LEVERS AND PUSH RED
BUTTON THROUGHOUT PUZZLE. GET RED DOT IN THE MIDDLE AND THE HOLE
OVER IT. WILL MOVE AUTOMATICALLY WHEN COMPLETED. ONE OF TWO
CHOICES FOR ENDING.
WALK FORWARD: BAD ENDING.
SHOOT FATHER: GOOD ENDING. IF YOU HAVE ALL FOUR BEETLES, BEST
ENDING.
