LAMIA -- Demi-human character class for D&D

Description

The lamia is a creature that's upper portion is that of a woman,
and the lower half is that of an animal (usually a tiger or
lion).  They are very strong and very fast creatures.

Other Details

  ALIGNMENT.  Lamias must be of Neutral or Chaotic alignment.
  PRIME REQUISITE.  The lamia's PR is Strength.  A lamia with a
Strength score of 12 or more gain a bonus to experience points
earned during an adventure.
  MINIMUM SCORES.  A lamia character must have Strength and
Dexterity scores of 10 or more when first played.
  LAMIA SAVING THROWS.  Lamias save as a Thief of the same level.

  TO-HIT ROLLS. A lamia rolls to hit as a Thief of the same
level.
  HIT DICE.  An eight-sided die (1d8) is used to determine a
lamia's hit points.  A lamia starts with 1-8 hit points (plus
Constitution bonus, if any) and gains 1d8 more hit point (plus
bonus) with each Level of Experience. 
  ARMOR. A lamia cannot wear any armor.
  WEAPONS. A lamia may only use a dagger.

Special Abilities

A lamia, has several different abilities, mostly magical in
nature.

  NATURAL WEAPONRY.  A lamia's claws can be used to inflict 1-4
(1d4) points of damage.
  NATURAL ARMOR CLASS.  Due to a lamia's bestial heritage, her
Base Armor Class is 7.  She may include her Dexterity bonus in
this base armor class. 
  CHARM PERSON.  The lamia can charm a person, following the
rules of the spell, once per day.
  MIRROR IMAGE.  The lamia can cast a mirror image of herself,
according to the spell, once per day.
  ILLUSION.  The lamia may cast an illusion like the spell, once
per day.
