FADE IN ON:

INT. TENDO HOUSEHOLD, DAY

We have the normal rising schedule. The house is in a storm as
RANMA and AKANE begin their preparations for the final dash to
school at the very last minute.

CUT TO:

INT. CLASSROOM

RANMA and AKANE quickly sit in their seats. For a change, they
are early for once in their lives. No KUNO, no RYOGA, no
principal, and none of AKANE's mad groupies. The teacher stands
up from his desk.

TEACHER. Well class, put all of your texts away. We have our
mid-term today.

SOUND, B.G.: GROANS

RANMA. MID-TERM?!
TEACHER. Yes, Ranma. It's what you (gets down in RANMA's face)
should have been STUDYING for during the last three weeks.
RANMA (worried). Heh, heh. Silly me.

The teacher begins to pass the papers down the aisles.

AKANE. (whispering) Ranma, you DID study for the exam, didn't
you?

RANMA is too busy chewing his fingernails to the bone to worry
about what AKANE asked him.

AKANE (whispering). Ranma?

SOUND, B.G.: NAIL BITING

AKANE (whispering). Ranma!
TEACHER. Miss Tendo! Please refrain from talking during the
exam. I won't warn you again.

AKANE looks down at her paper. RANMA quits his insistent biting,
and looks down. The words seem to move around on the paper,
forming the phrase: RANMA, YOU DIDN'T STUDY!

RANMA'S eyes go wide as he sees the phrase. He blinks and rubs
his eyes, then looking back down upon the paper. The words are
back to "normal", which might as well be Greek (or English :) )
to him.

RANMA gives a rather mournful sigh, and picks up his pencil. He
gulps very hard and begins to fill in the first answer.

CUT TO:

INT. CLASSROOM, AN HOUR LATER

TEACHER. Okay class. Those who aren't done must turn in their
exams NOW.

SOUND, B.G.: WHIMPERING

RANMA makes a frantic last attempt to randomly fill in the last
thirty of the thirty-five questions. Everyone starts leaving.

TEACHER. Ranma Saotome.

RANMA continues at an increased speed.

TEACHER. Ranma Saotome.

RANMA continues.

TEACHER. RANMA SAOTOME! TURN IN YOUR EXAM NOW!

RANMA finishes and turns in the exam. He promptly falls over,
and lands in AKANE'S arms.

TEACHER. Miss Tendo, would you please leave your fiancee here,
so he and I can have a little chat?
AKANE. Uh...sure...

AKANE places RANMA (still unconscious) into a chair and leaves.
The teacher closes the door.

TEACHER. Ranma.
RANMA. Yhjjkl....fddgbn... (incoherent mumbling)
TEACHER. RANMA!
RANMA (waking up). FORTY-TWO!
TEACHER. Ranma, we need to have a little talk.
RANMA. Huh? What about?
TEACHER. Your grades.
RANMA. What about my grades?
TEACHER. This exam is going to be worth more to your grade than
you'll ever be able to make up. You'll have to repeat this year
if you fail this exam.
RANMA. WHAT?!
TEACHER (puts up a hand). Ranma, I don't want to hear if you
studied or not. I watched you the entire time. Though I didn't
see you cheat, I do hope that your grades will be better than
average.
RANMA. I...that is...
TEACHER. There IS a way to bring your grade up. RANMA. How's
that?
TEACHER. You need to do a book report.
RANMA. Book report?
TEACHER. Yes. Read a book, and turn a report back in,
describing what it's about.
RANMA. That's not so bad. Yeah! I can read a book and write
about it. No problem. I-

The teacher goes behind his desk and pulls out a VERY thick book
and drops it on Ranma's desk.

RANMA. That wouldn't be-
TEACHER. The book you have to read. You have one month from
today to read it and turn in a paper.
RANMA. What's the book?
TEACHER. The Bible. King James version.

RANMA gulps.

TEACHER. That's it. I wanted to tell you about your situation.

CUT TO:

SCHOOL COURTYARD

AKANE is waiting by the school gates. RANMA slowly walks out...
and past AKANE. His head is down rather low.

AKANE. Ranma?

RANMA is silent.

AKANE. Ranma?
RANMA. What.
AKANE. Are you alright?
RANMA. Sure. Perfect. Couldn't be better. I'm in top shape.
AKANE. Sarcasm isn't one of your strong points.
RANMA. Okay Akane, I'm going to fail.
AKANE. Fail the exam? Didn't you study?
RANMA. No.
AKANE. Why?
RANMA. Didn't need to.
AKANE. Didn't NEED to? Ranma, you see where your school grades
are getting you. Nowhere. You need to study to bring them up.

And up in the distance, three very familiar figures, all with one
or more grudges to settle, home in on RANMA'S position.

KUNO/MOUSSE/RYOGA. RANMA!

RANMA dodges out of the way of the trio of attackers.

RANMA. What did I do NOW?
MOUSSE. NOW? You've done things from the beginning since you've
arrived in Nerima.

The trio make a stance.

KUNO. Ranma! Prepare to taste the vengeance of three men who
have been waiting for this very day to show you our GRATITUDE!
RANMA. Akane, go on home. I'll be late.
AKANE. Oh...okay...

AKANE leaves.

RANMA. Okay guys. I'm have a really lousy day. Now, if you
want to be severely beaten, humiliated, and turned into pretzels,
please come forward.

They rush forward.

RANMA. So much for intelligence...

CUT TO:

FIGHT SCENE

KUNO bashes Ranma on the head with his boken. RANMA retaliates.

MOUSSE bashes Ranma on the head. RANMA retaliates.

RYOGA bashed Ranma on the head. Ranma retaliates.

...And it continues like that for a while...

CUT TO:

STREETS OF NERIMA

RANMA is limping along the road with several cuts, bruises and
bumps (mostly on his head).

RANMA. Ugh...I hurt all over...and...

SOUND, B.G.: A CHIME FROM A BELL

RANMA. Whuh-

CRASH!

SHAMPOO has kindly parked her bicycle at full speed (guess
where?).

SHAMPOO. Ranma! It's so good to see you!

RANMA doesn't move.

SHAMPOO. Ranma?

SHAMPOO moves her bike, and picks him up, hugging him.

SHAMPOO. Ranma?

RANMA is thoroughly knocked out.

SHAMPOO. Ranma! You must be hurt. I take you home.

CUT TO:

INT. NEKKOHATEN, SHAMPOO'S ROOM

SHAMPOO'S rooms looks like nothing this author can describe. Use
your imagination.

RANMA is laying on SHAMPOO'S bed. She puts his pack on the
mantle above her bed.

SHAMPOO. You stay right here. I get you some ice.

SHAMPOO leave and closes the door. The force of the door rocks
the mantles, opening up Ranma's backpack. After a few moments, a
book drops out of the pack and falls, open, onto his face. The
title reads: THE BIBLE. KING JAMES VERSION.

CUT TO:

INT. NEKKOHATEN, STAIRS

SHAMPOO is walking up the stairs with a bowl of ice and several
small pieces of cloth (towels).

SHAMPOO. Ranma is here! Maybe this is my chance!

SHAMPOO walks up to her room, and as she is about to answer it,
RANMA opens the door. SHAMPOO drops her things.

SHAMPOO. Ranma!

RANMA looks at her.

RANMA. Peace be with you, my child.
SHAMPOO. Ranma?
RANMA. I must leave now. Thank you for your treatment.
SHAMPOO. Ranma? Where you go now?
RANMA. I must return to my home.
SHAMPOO (grabbing RANMA's arm). No! Ranma stay here with
Shampoo!
RANMA. I'm sorry, but I must continue the Lord's work elsewhere.
SHAMPOO. Lord? What you talking about?
RANMA. You're not Catholic, are you?
SHAMPOO. Who?
RANMA. Perhaps you should visit a church a little more often.
SHAMPOO. Ranma? You talking strange.
RANMA. Good day.

RANMA walks down the stairs, and leaves the restaurant. COLOGNE
sees him leave and runs/hops up the stairs to where SHAMPOO is
standing.

COLOGNE. Shampoo! Ranma was here, and you didn't tell me?
SHAMPOO. He was...talking strange...
COLOGNE. What? What are you talking about?
SHAMPOO. He say something about...the Lord?
COLOGNE. Hmmm...

BIBLE, C.U.

FADE TO BLACK

FADE IN ON:

INT. TENDO HOUSEHOLD, LIVING ROOM

SOUN and GENMA are playing their usual game of Go. KASUMI is
cleaning up, and NABIKI is watching T.V.. AKANE enters the
living room.

AKANE. Has anyone seen Ranma yet?
SOUN. Ranma? (makes a move) No, why?
AKANE. He was in the middle of something when he told me to go
home. That was two hours ago.
GENMA. Perhaps he is just...meditating.
AKANE. Ranma? Meditate? You're been eating some spiked bamboo,
haven't you?

GENMA coughs. A fish in the outside pond leaps.

The door at the entrance to the house opens.

KASUMI'S VOICE. Hello, Ranma. How are you?
AKANE. Ranma?

AKANE stands and runs out into the entrance.

RANMA. Contemplating life's vicissitudes.*

(* see the episode of "Alf" pertaining to this comment)

AKANE. Ranma? Where have you been?!
RANMA. I was walking, my child. To sort my thoughts.
AKANE (face faults). "My child?" What's gotten into you?
RANMA. Religion.

RANMA begins walking past her.

AKANE. Religion? What in-

RANMA enters the living room.

RANMA. Good evening father. Good evening to you as well, Mister
Tendo.

GENMA and SOUN crash to the ground.

GENMA. "Father?"
SOUN. "Mister Tendo?"
RANMA. I will be in my room if anyone needs me.

RANMA leaves and walks up the stairs.

SOUN. Saotome-
GENMA. Yes, I know. Something indeed happen to Ranma this
afternoon. I can...FEEL it.
SOUN. He IS your son.
GENMA. Yes, I will talk with him.

CUT TO:

INT. RANMA'S ROOM

RANMA is kneeling on his mat, with hands pressed together, and
eyes closed.

SOUND, B.G.: KNOCK ON THE DOOR

RANMA. Come in.

GENMA steps into the room.

GENMA. Ranma, I've been meaning to speak to you.
RANMA (opening his eyes). About what, father?
GENMA. About...say, what are you doing?
RANMA. Praying.
GENMA. Praying? About what?
RANMA. To God.
GENMA. God?! What are you, a Catholic?
RANMA. Not at the moment.
GENMA. Anyway, about the- WHAT DO YOU MEAN, "NOT AT THE
MOMENT"?!
RANMA. I'm going to be Catholicized-
GENMA. WHAT?!
RANMA. -and I'm going to enter the ministry.
GENMA. WWWWWHHHHHAAAAATTTTT?????!!!!! RANMA! WHAT ARE YOU
SAYING?!
RANMA. There is no need to raise your voice. I am simply
following my calling. God came to me in a flood of words. I
knew my true destiny.
GENMA (kneeling in front of him, crying). Ranma! What about
your martial arts training?! What about our legacy?! What about
your engagement?! More importantly, what will your mother
think?!
RANMA. I agree that it is sad, but I have a calling from a
higher power. His word comes before my personal feelings and
wants.
GENMA. This...can't...be...happen-

GENMA faints.

CUT TO:

INT. LIVING ROOM

SOUN. SAOTOME!

SOUN begins wringing his long-time friend's neck.

GENMA. Not-Gack!-my-Urg!-fault-
SOUN. NOT YOUR FAULT?! (lets go of GENMA)
GENMA. I didn't do anything. That's what he said.
SOUN. How can this happen? (begins trademarked crying) A
future down the drain! Oh, never has there been a more black day
in the Tendo family!
NABIKI. Then, daddy, what do we do?
SOUN. We can do nothing. I can't force him to do anything. BUT
I'LL KILL HIM IF HE BECOMES A PRIEST!
GENMA. Not if I get hold of him first!
NABIKI (to AKANE) Akane, you've been rather quiet.
AKANE. What's there to say? I'm going to bed.

AKANE stands and leaves.

NABIKI. What a mess. Now my cash flow is going to disappear.

CUT TO:

INT. AKANE'S ROOM

AKANE is laying in bed, looking up at the ceiling.

AKANE (thinking). Ranma, what's gotten into you? You have a lot
of responsibilities...not to mention people who care for you...to
just say something like this out of the blue.

AKANE turns on her side, and looks out of the window.

AKANE (thinking). And you're just going to throw it all away?
You're just going to throw ME away? (a tear flows down her
cheek) Oh Ranma...

CUT TO:

STREETS OF NERIMA

AKANE is walking to school. RANMA is as well, though not via his
regular route, i.e. the fence. He is walking along with her, and
in a school uniform.

AKANE. Uh...Ranma?
RANMA. Yes, Akane?
AKANE. Is it true? What you're going to do?
RANMA. I'm afraid so.
AKANE. Then, what's going to happen to me, Ranma?
RANMA. I don't know.

AKANE stops. Ranma does as well.

AKANE. You "don't know"?! Ranma, we're ENGAGED to be married,
you're supposed to carry on the dojo-
RANMA (puts a hand on her shoulder). Akane, it's not that I
don't WANT to. It's that I CAN'T. God called to me, and I had
to answer. There are some things more important in the world
than what I want.
AKANE. Ranma...
RANMA. Akane, I will be sad to see everything go, but I have a
duty to my creator. It's the least I can do. And don't think
for a single moment that I won't miss everything. I will. I'll
miss you, Akane.

RANMA continues walking.

AKANE. Ranma...

CUT TO:

FURINKAN SCHOOL, ENTRANCE

RANMA walks through the open gates of the school.

KUNO. SAOTOME!

KUNO rushes forward and crushes the wall next to where Ranma is
standing (which happen to be the same area that he destroyed in
the second episode of the T.V. series).

RANMA. Good morning, Tatewaki. How are you?

KUNO'S face faults.

KUNO. "Good morning?" Is this some sort of trick?
RANMA. Trick? Why, no, my good man.
KUNO. Then fight back!
RANMA. Fight? I have no intentions to. We should be at peace.
The Lord wishes it so.

KUNO is left standing in a "boken-over-his-head-ready-to-strike-
position". Unfortunately, his small mind is unable to comprehend
what Ranma just said. So he stands there, his mind snapped like
a twig under the full mass of the Leveller from "Ferngully".

RANMA pats him on the shoulder.

RANMA. Let me know if I can help.

RANMA then walks off. He had attracted quite a lot of attention
with the speech.

VOICES. "What was that?" "He didn't even HIT Kuno!" "What's up
with Ranma?" "A SCHOOL uniform?"

CUT TO:

CLASSROOM, AFTER SCHOOL

RANMA. Teacher, thank you for giving me the book to read. It
has opened up several new boundaries for me. A very enlightening
book that I should have read before.

The teacher is slouched down in his chair.

RANMA. Sir?

The teacher is babbling something.

RANMA. Let me know if I can help.

RANMA leaves. Only then do we understand what the teacher was
saying.

TEACHER. School uniform...school uniform...school uniform...

CUT TO:

EXT. TENDO HOUSEHOLD

UKKYO/SHAMPOO. WWWWWHHHHHAAAAATTTTT?????!!!!!
KASUMI. Yes, Ranma is entering the ministry.
UKKYO. How could this happen?! I treated Ranma so well! How
could he do this to me?
SHAMPOO. Shampoo treated him better! And he doesn't tell even
me!
UKKYO. Oh yeah?! He liked ME better!
SHAMPOO. Does not!
UKKYO. Does too!
SHAMPOO. Grrrr!

UKKYO and SHAMPOO initiate the trademarked "jealousy fight" that
females like to do in their spare time on Ranma 1/2. They
grapple and begin throwing each other around.

RANMA exits the house.

UKKYO/SHAMPOO. RANMA!
RANMA. Good afternoon. Why are you two fighting? It's
unbecoming.
UKKYO. Ranma, is it true-
SHAMPOO (butting in front of Ukkyo). That you're going to become
a priest?
RANMA. It's true. As a matter of fact- (to Kasumi) Kasumi,
would you tell the rest of the family that I will be leaving on
Saturday?
KASUMI. Saturday... Let's see... Five days from now?
RANMA. Yes. I have other things to do today.
KASUMI. Okay Ranma.

RANMA walks out onto the street. UKKYO and SHAMPOO are left
crying in the middle of it all.

CUT TO:

STREETS OF NERIMA, NIGHT

RANMA. Another walk.

RANMA puts his hands in his pockets.

RANMA. God? I know that I haven't been a Christian all of my
life, and God knows--sorry--YOU know that I haven't been the best
person that I could be.

A woman and a child walk by RANMA, looking at him as he talks to
himself.

RANMA. I have one thing happen to me, and everyone thinks that I
should do that. But then I get this calling from you. I really
don't want to hurt anyone, so, could you give me a small sign to
see if this is really what I'm supposed to do? You know, it's a
rather big step to go into the ministry.

RANMA stops and looks up at the building he's in front of.

It's a chapel.

RANMA. "Ask and you shall receive."

INT. CHAPEL

RANMA opens the door, walks in, and sits in one of the middle
pews. He kneels down, gives the sign of the cross, and begins
praying.

SOUND, B.G.: FOOTSTEPS

RANMA looks up. A PRIEST is standing over him.

PRIEST. Hello young man.
RANMA. Good evening father.
PRIEST. It's rather late in the evening. Why is it that you're
in the chapel?
RANMA. Seeking answers.
PRIEST. (smiling) Well, I've always found that this is the best
place. Do you mind if I sit?
RANMA. Be my guest.

RANMA scoots over, and the PRIEST sits.

PRIEST. Then, tell me what is bothering you.
RANMA. I'm considering going into the ministry.
PRIEST. Oh! What a pleasant career choice.
RANMA. (smiles) Perhaps. But, I'm not, oh I don't know how to
say it...
PRIEST. You're not sure that this is what you've been meant to
do?
RANMA. Say, that's exactly it. (turns to him) How did you
know?
PRIEST. You're one of many people who come seeking that answer
to that question.
RANMA. Then, do you have the answer?
PRIEST. I'm not you. It's what is in your heart.
RANMA. My heart is torn. I want to go for my calling, but I
don't want to hurt anyone.
PRIEST. Like whom?
RANMA. My father. He wants me to carry on the family legacy of
martial arts. Not to mention that, I'm engaged to be married.
PRIEST. That could represent a problem. Do you love her?
RANMA. (reddening) Well, I...
PRIEST. You don't need to answer. I'm just asking you to get
your mind working.
RANMA. Then I'm back at square one.
PRIEST. My boy, there are no definite answers in this world.
All I can say is, trust in God. Tomorrow's another day, and I'm
pretty sure that he's got something in store for you.
RANMA. (closes his eyes and looks down) I can't just look away
from it! I don't want to hurt anyone, especially-

RANMA opens his eyes and looks around.

The PRIEST isn't there.

CUT TO:

INT. TENDO HOUSEHOLD, DEN, NIGHT

RANMA walks into the room. Surprisingly enough, AKANE is waiting
there.

RANMA. Akane? What are you doing up? It's almost midnight.
AKANE. Where did you go?
RANMA. To do some soul searching. I had a long chat with God
along the street.
AKANE. Ranma? Have you...have you thought this thing over
carefully?
RANMA. I've gone over it in my mind. Over, and over, and
over...
AKANE. And?
RANMA. God has given me a calling in life, and there's no
greater invitation than the Almighty. But I don't want to hurt
anyone. I was told to trust in God...so...
AKANE. So? Ranma? What is it?

AKANE looks at him a bit, and then realizes.

AKANE. Ranma, you're going to do it, aren't you?

RANMA looks down.

AKANE. Ranma... Ranma...
RANMA. I'm sorry.

RANMA begins to walk toward the stairs.

AKANE. And what about me, Ranma? What am I going to do when
you're gone?
RANMA. (turning) I DON'T KNOW!

AKANE is taken aback. RANMA simply walks up the stairs.

AKANE. Ranma...Ranma you fo-

AKANE then breaks down in tears.

RANMA, upstairs, leans against his door in his room, listening to
her cry.

CUT TO:

INT. RANMA'S ROOM, DAY

RANMA is packing his things away in his usual backpack.

GENMA. And there's no way that I can talk you out of it?
RANMA. Sorry, dad.
GENMA. And your mother...
RANMA. I'm sure she's a little more understanding than you
think.

FADE TO:

Scene of SD-NODOKA chasing SD-GENMA with a bisento.

NODOKA. Ranma did WHAT?!
GENMA. I'm sorry!

FADE BACK

GENMA. Um, yeah.

INT. TENDO HOUSEHOLD, FRONT PORCH

SOUN. How could you do this to us? (crying) This is a shame!

RANMA places his hand on SOUN's shoulder.

RANMA. Perhaps it's meant to be. God will take care of it all.
SOUN. And what has he done for me lately?
RANMA. Giving you three daughters.

SOUN stops.

RANMA. Good-bye, Kasumi (hug)... Good-bye, Nabiki (hug)... Good-
bye Mr. Tendo (shake)... Good-bye dad (hug)... Good-bye Ku- Kuno?
KUNO. Good-bye, Ranma.
RANMA. What are you doing here?

RYOGA pops up.

RYOGA. We heard about you going into the ministry, so we've
decided to give you a sending off.
RANMA. Thanks.

MOUSSE pops up.

MOUSSE. Don't worry. We'll I'll take care of Shampoo for you.
RYOGA. And I'll take care of Akane.
KUNO (to RYOGA). Akane?! I'M going to take care of her!
RYOGA. Over my dead body!
KUNO. That can be arranged!

RYOGA and KUNO battle it out.

RANMA (to SOUN). Speaking of Akane, where is she?
SOUN. I don't think that she could take it.
RANMA. Oh, I'm sorry to hear that. Please say good-bye to her
for me.

RANMA picks up his pack.

RANMA. We'll, I'm off.
KASUMI. Write soon!
RANMA. I will.

RANMA turns and walks down the Tendo's path to the gate.
KODATCHE, UKKYO, SHAMPOO, and just about every other girl who has
taken to RANMA is standing off to the side of the path, crying,
but not saying a word.

RANMA walks out of the gate, and turns to the left. He walks
down the street a bit, and stops.

AKANE is standing down the street, looking at him.

AKANE. Ranma...
RANMA. Akane...

She walks up to him.

AKANE. Be sure...be sure to write me, o-okay?
RANMA. Of course I'll write. Why wouldn't I?

AKANE begins to cry.

AKANE. Ranma, why did you have to choose this...

RANMA drops his pack and puts his arms on her shoulders.

RANMA. This is not me, it's-
AKANE. I HATE YOU!

She punches him across the face. He flies against the wall, head
first, and lay on the ground.

AKANE. Oh, Ranma!

She runs over to him. RANMA sits up.

RANMA. Owwwwwww...
AKANE. Ranma, I'm sorry. Are you okay?
RANMA. No, I'm not okay you stupid tomboy! Why did you hit me
anyway.
AKANE. I hit you because- Wait, you don't KNOW?
RANMA. I NEVER know what the REAL reason is, but I do know one
thing: YOU'RE TOO VIOLENT. And what am I doing out in the street
anyway?
AKANE. Ranma, you were going into the ministry, don't you
remember?
RANMA. THE MINISTRY?! You're putting me on!
AKANE. You mean, you're not?
RANMA. Are you kidding?! NO!
AKANE. Ranma...you're back!

She hugs him.

RANMA. I'm back? Hey! Get off of me! I don't want anyone
seeing you hugging me!
AKANE. WHAT WAS THAT?!

AKANE stands and pulls out her hammer.

RANMA. Oh, nothing. Gee, look at the time. Better run.

RANMA begins running, with AKANE in pursuit.

AKANE. RANMA, GET BACK HERE!

RANMA takes a turn down an alley, and AKANE runs right passed
him.

RANMA (wiping his brow). That was close.

VOICE. Hello, Ranma.

RANMA turns to see the PRIEST standing behind him.

RANMA. It's you... Wait a minute... It's you? What am I
saying? Have I seen you before?
PRIEST. Yes, you came to the chapel last night.
RANMA. The last few days have been a blur. Wait, yes, I do!
PRIEST. So, I take it that your course has been set?
RANMA. Set?
PRIEST. I guess so. Just remember that God has a plan for
everything.
RANMA. I see. By the way, how did you know my name? And what
is YOUR name?
PRIEST. Oh, my name's Gabriel. I know a lot of people, and a
lot of names.
RANMA. Huh?
GABRIEL. Ranma, remember that God loves everyone, and He
wouldn't want you to hurt anyone.

GABRIEL begins to rise.

GABRIEL. It's what you do in your life for him. Even the
smallest little praise is glorifying him.
RANMA. Hey, you're-
GABRIEL. Yes, I am. Good-bye, Ranma. I'll see you some time in
the future...
RANMA. Not too soon, I hope?
GABRIEL. You've got a very long life ahead of you.

GABRIEL then disappears. RANMA is left staring up into the sky.
AKANE then comes running around the alley.

AKANE. RANMA!

She stops when she sees RANMA staring up.

AKANE. Ranma? Just what ARE you looking at?

RANMA turns to her.

RANMA. Oh, nothing. Hey, let's go home.

CUT TO:

INT. TENDO HOUSEHOLD, RANMA'S ROOM

GENMA hugs his son tightly.

GENMA. Oh Ranma! You're made me so proud!
RANMA. Oh, come on. You could care less whether I went or not.
You just didn't want to get killed by mom.

RANMA breaks free, drops his pack on the ground, and opens it up.

KASUMI'S VOICE. Mr. Saotome! Ranma! It's dinner time!
GENMA. Let's go.
RANMA. I'll be right down.

GENMA leaves.

RANMA opens the pack, and pulls out the first item: the Bible.
He looks at it a bit and smiles. RANMA kisses it, and gently
tosses it on his bedding. Then walks out of the room and closes
the door.

                                FIN

And it's finished! A rather unconventional story for the Ranma
1/2 universe. And as my readers know, I like unconventionality
(is that a word?).
Well, as part of this project, I hope that you liked it, and
please read the rest of my fanfiction when you get the chance;
it's all available at my homepage!
