Aftermath:
Sheriff Duke moves onto to become sheriff of a new town, somewhere they don’t check references, with his morale lowered to 4, (he ran away without even a scratch), Whitey Burp becomes the new Sheriff, and vows to kill Duke next time he sees him.
The Banditos expand their personnel base as word spreads they have a new cook, Senor Shotgun is now head Honcho as Fernando was slain.
The Cowboys recover.
I tried the variant shooting option where you rolled 3D6 versus CV, but I found it was far too easy to pass 2 or more which resulted in a lot of bad wounds.
