This site was designed using AOLpress (formerly GNNpress), version 2.0 beta.
Picture editing is done using LVIEW, and has proved quite satisfactory for the task. It can even import pictures directly from the scanner. JPEG picture compression is adjustable, when squeezing that picture for faster load times.
For the viewing of picture archives, ACDsee is highly recommended. If you have pictures to look at, and you're still using Netscape, get a life and get ACDsee.
The composing computer operates under Windows 95, in 1024x768 graphics mode, using 16-bit color. For site viewing, the author generally brings up a Netscape 3.0 browser to fill 60~80% of the width of the screen (but full height).
A maximized (full-screen) 800x600 video mode has been tested and 256 color will work, for the graphically challenged. For best viewing, go with 16-bit color - your eyes will thank you.
Sound is used on this site, for maximum impact and humor. Get some.
