Lab Rats

It seems Stronghold has given us a means of generating tokens creatures consistantly without relying on a specific card to remain in play. Serpent Generator makes creatures cheaper, and with a generally considered better ability, but if someone counters or destroys the artifact --- your out of luck. Lab Rats can't be Disenchanted or stolen or warped or anything odd like that, just countered and discarded. There are some ways that Lab Rats are better and worse than other popular token generating devices, and none are too much better than the other. Its just a matter of finding the one right for you and your deck. If black weenies are in need, Labs Rats are quite effective.
