"I remember it well. I was a young rambunctious woodsman in those days. I was on routine patrol when I stumbled onto a trio of wolfen scouts. It should have been my end you know. Before I knew it there was cold wolfen steel in my side. They were just about to deliver the final blow when He showed up. The beastman tore the first two in half almost instantly with his great axes. The third stood in complete shock until a moment later when he was dealt the same fate as his comrades. The creature threw me over his shoulder and carried me back to the outpost where I received treatment just in time. Forty-two stitches if I remember correctly.

"It was later when I went to thank the warrior that I really got a good look at him. He was skinning a deer when I approached him; by the gods he must have been 10ft. tall. He turned around when he heard me coming. If you have never seen a Minotaur, believe me their is no race like it. His arms looked like tree trunks and I knew he could squash me in a second if he felt like it. I barely could squeeze out a thank-you, I was in so much awe.

"His name was Drog and he was given the well deserved nickname of "The Destroyer" while in our company after seeing him crush an ogre with his bare hands. Most say he was spawned in some forgotten region of the Old Kingdom Mountains where his race hides in shame. His parents were probably lowly thieves, but he wouldn't be like them. In his eyes he had nothing to be ashamed of, so he left to see the world and sell his services as a warrior.

"I have seen the most confident Eastern officers unable to look him in the eye.  I have seen the bravest wolfen warriors cower to his might. I have never, to this day, seen man nor beast that could honestly claim to be the equal of the mighty Drog "The Destroyer".

"He fought with us on the border for a few years. His might became known by the entire wolfen border army; and then one day he just disappeared like dust in the wind.

"That must have been about 30 years ago. Some say he gave up the ways of combat and went back to his people. Some say his "live by the blade" ways led him to his end in combat. Others just say he completely vanished off the face of Palladium. Let me tell you I knew Drog "The Destroyer" and I don't believe a damn word of it. I can feel it in my bones. He is somewhere, right now, under this same endless Palladium sky. And he is ready to take on all comers."

From "Tales of the Border", written by Lt. Hawk Kimmel of the Gual Kingdom in the Eastern Territory. The book is now in possession of the scholars of the Old Kingdom.

12/2/97:  Recently a conversation between Drog and Sir Garland took place relating to the state of the group as they left the Yin Sloth jungles.  Excellent reading...Enjoy! - Rehlman

1/1/98:  Drog recently gained a level and is more powerful then ever, wielding two of the finest Dwarven made giant axes known to mankind.  He recently displayed his power by killing a Baal-Rog with a single swipe of his paired axes, cleaving the greater demon in half.  Drog has become quite a force to be reconed with. - Rehlman

3/29/98:  Ahh yeah!  See all 8ft. of this bad ass, musclebound merc. in action in this picture.  Make sure to take careful note of the cool blood splatter on the Battle Axe :) -Rehlman
