A game called Interstate '76 was released earlier this year for the PC, and instead of doing a direct port to the PlayStation, the developers have decided to make a brand new game, and it could have Twisted Metal 3 on the run. The game is called Vigilante 8, and it is a vehicle combat game much like the Twisted Metal games. From the looks of the screen shots, this game looks like it has the Twisted Metal games out clased in graphics. The game is set in the 70's, and there are 20 cars to choose from ranging from muscle cars to a camper truck to a school bus. Some of the 3D battle grounds are California and a Colorado ski resort. Containing the all important split-screen mode, this is one game to watch for early next year.
