ARMOUR: Power Armour (3+ save) WARGEAR: Maybe given 5 wargear cards, three of which will always be The Lion Helm (25pts), Lion's Sword (80pts), The Crest of the Watchers (80pts)

ADDITIONAL EQUIPMENT: Lion maybe given additional equipment from the war-gear list except heavy weapons.

SPECIAL:

Lion is well known throughout the galaxy for his unstoppable courage and determination. This is represented by his being able to run his full movement and still fire that turn. Lion also gets one free shot at any model that charges him.

Lion is the only man alive who is known to have beaten Leman Russ in hand-to-hand combat, his skills in close combat are unmatched. To represent this Lion will always inflict at least one hit in hand-to-hand regardless of the out come. This could result in both models being killed.

NEW WARGEAR CARDS:

The Crest of the Watchers: No one knows who or what the Watchers in the Dark are. During the founding of the Dark Angels Lion was given a silver wing and claw amulet. Feeling that the emblem represented the qualities of speed and power, Lion had the amulet affixed to the breast plate of his armour. This artifact enables its wearer to teleport up to 18" during the movement phase, This ability can not be affected for any reason (i.e. teleport jammers, chaos). In conjunction with this it provides the wearer with an additional save in the same way as a displacer field, The displacement is caused by the Watchers moving the wearer out of harms way (3+ save, Teleport d6" in a random direction) LION EL'JONSON ONLY

The Lion's Sword: This sword was crafted by the ancient artificers for Lion El'Jonson upon the request of the Emperor. Charged with psychic power tapped directly from the warp the Lion's sword destroys all that it comes into contact with. When a hit is scored the sword inflicts d3 Str. 8 hits with a -6 save, causing d4 wounds. Daemons due not receive their aura saving throw, and take d 8 wounds instead. Armour Pen. d6+d20+d10+8.
