Battle 97: The Last Card
Kyuu laughs as the Demon's Dragon is too big to move through the
maze. Jounouchi has forgotten that, but Yugi is unfazed.
Kyuu draws and plays "Force", reducing Yugi and Jounouchi's LP to
half (Y's LP: 600, J's LP: 650), and giving it to Sangaa (Attack
3250) and Hyuuga (Attack 3000).
Yugi draws Shift Change (and there is a Raise Dead in his hand).
He reveals the Black Magician from the Silk Hat, and walks it to
the end of the maze in front of the Gate Guardian. He then plays
Raise Dead, putting the monster in Defense mode.
Mei attacks the Black Magician, but Yugi uses Water Demon
Reflection, of the monster he brought back from the dead.
Jounouchi draws and plays "Mirrored Illusion", copying "Force"
(M's LP: 450, K's LP: 390), and giving it to Black Demon's Dragon
(Attack 4040).
Mei destroys Suuga with Hyuuga. Yugi then reveals that his true
intentions was simply to get the Black Magician to the edge of
the maze. He then plays Shift Change, exchanging the positions
of the Black Magician and Black Demon's Dragon. The Gate
Guardian is destroyed, and defeating both of the Maze Brothers at
the same time.
Battle 98: Which One?!
Jounouchi and Yugi each get enough Star Chips to bring them to
ten, but the game is not over yet. They still have to get the
correct key to exit.
Through a little trickery and two marked coins, Yugi gets the
Maze Brothers to reveal the true location of the key. They get
the key and leave the maze.
Battle 99: The Final Area
Yugi and company find the exit to the set of caves, and go above
ground.
At Pegasus' Castle, Seto is holding Mr. Crockets hostage to see
Pegasus. Pegasus talks to him through a video screen. One of
Pegasus' guards gives him five Star Chips. Pegasus tells him
that the only way to get to him and rescue Mokuba is to defeat
Yugi to get the remaining five.
Yugi and company find themselves in front of Pegasus' Castle,
with Seto waiting for them.
Battle 100: The Decisive Battle! Duel Disk!
Seto challenges Yugi to a duel of the Duel Disks.
Yugi starts with Curse of Dragon (5/2000/1500), and Seto with
Gargoyle Powered (5/1600/1400). Only one monster may be used at
a time in the Duel Disk.
Seto reveals a rule of the Duel Disks that one can attack the
cards in the opponent's hand. If it's a monster card, damage is
done to the player of the lower total. Otherwise, it's
destroyed. Seto attacks a card in Yugi's hand, Gremlin
(5/1300/1400) (Y's LP: 1700).
Battle 101: First Trial, First Removal
Yugi attacks Seto's Gargoyle Powered with his Curse of Dragon,
and defeats it (S's LP: 1600).
Seto plays Vengeful Sword Stalker (6/2000/1600). However, it
power's up with the monster defeated before it (Attack total
2400). Seto attacks, and just as the Curse of Dragon is about to
be destroyed, Yugi Shift Changes to the Black Magician. The
Sword Stalker is destroyed (S's LP: 1500).
Seto plays "Lamp Spirit Ra Djinn" (5/1800/1000). Yugi attacks,
but plays the "Magic Lamp" Trap card to reflect the attack back
to Yugi's "Curse of Dragon" in his hand (Y's LP: 1200).
Battle 102: Forming the Pieces
Seto's "Ra Djinn" exits the Magic Lamp, and attacks a card in
Yugi's hand: "Sealing Swords of Light".
Yugi draws "Magic Box of Death", but plays "Eye of Truth",
revealing Seto's hand. Yugi is shocked to see that Seto has a
Blue Eyes White Dragon, but has failed to play it. Yugi realizes
that he is waiting for the three Blue Eyes to fuse.
Yugi plays the Magic Box of Death on the Magic Lamp Trap, the
Black Magician springs from the other box, and destroys "Ra
Djinn" (K's LP: 800).
Seto plays "Dark Clown Master Sagi". Yugi switches the Black
Magician with Dark Knight Gaia (6/2300/2100), and just as it
destroys "Sagi", Seto reveals the "Deck Death Virus" Trap. It
destroys Dark Knight Gaia, plus the Black Magician in his hand.
Battle 103: Waiting for the Answer
Yugi draws Demon Summon and Silver Fong, but the Demon Summon is
destroyed due to the "Deck Death Virus". Yugi plays Silver Fong
in Defense Mode (4/1200/800).
Kaiba plays Minotaur (Attack 1700), and slays the Silver Fong.
Yugi draws Griffol (3/1200/1500) and Mammoth Skeleton
(4/1200/800). He plays Griffol, and attaches a "Unicorn Horn" to
it (Attack total 1900). Yugi slays the Minotaur (K's LP: 600).
Seto plays "Holy Elf's Blessing" and restores 300 Life Points
(K's LP: 900). Seto then draws a "Blue Eyes White Dragon" and
"Fusion". Seto changes to "Blue Eyes White Dragon"
(8/3000/2500), and destroys the Griffol (Y's LP: 100).
Yugi changes to "Rock Soldier" in Defense Mode (6/1300/2000).
And Seto fuses all three "Blue Eyes".
Battle 104: True Crisis
Seto fuses the three "Blue Eyes" into "Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon"
(Attack 4500). Seto attacks a card in Yugi's hand, "Monster
Return".
Yugi draws "Magic Effect Arrow" and "Fusion". Seto destroys the
"Rock Soldier" on his turn, then Yugi draws one of his trump
cards: Kuribo (2/300/200) and places it in Attack Mode. Seto
can't believe it. Then Yugi plays "Multiply".
Seto attacks, but finds that he must destroy all of the Kuribo's
before he can do damage to Yugi.
Yugi then plays his three card combo: "Magic Effect Arrow",
"Fusion", and "Mammoth Skeleton". He fuses the "Mammoth
Skeleton" to the "Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon".
Battle 105: Tormenting Duel
Yugi reveals that since the Mammoth Skeleton is a Dark Type, and
Ultimate Dragon is a Light type, Ultimate's attack will be
reduced by the Skeleton's attack each turn.
Seto attacks (Attack 3300) but the Kuribo's are still there.
Seto has an image of Mokuba being consumed by the corpse of the
Ultimate Dragon. (Attack 2100). Seto does nothing and the
Ultimate Dragon further reduces in attack (Attack 900).
Yugi plays Elven Swordsman (6/1400/1200), and decapitates one of
the heads of the Ultimate Dragon (K's LP: 400). Seto reveals
that if he loses the duel, he will give up his life, by perching
himself on the edge of the castle wall, just about the cliff.
Seto then draws "Raise Dead", restoring the destroyed head of the
Ultimate Dragon (Attack 3000).
Yugi is about to attack, but the normal Yugi takes over, and the
attack halts. Seto then attacks, destroying the Elven Swordsman
(Y's LP: 0). Seto wins.
