Battle 124: That Time
Jounouchi forgoes the fight with Yugi, and gives him the "Gold"
award card. The time for Yugi to battle Pegasus has come.
Pegasus orders his men to ready the Duel Stage.
On the way to the stage, Pegasus and his men encounter Bandit
Keith. Keith brings out a knife, and demands the prize money.
Pegasus uses the power of the Millennium Eye to inflict a "Game
Penalty" on Keith, turning his hand into a revolver. Keith
uncontrollably puts the revolver up to his head, and "pulls" the
trigger. Pegasus and his men continue on.
Battle 125: Being Read?!
Yugi and Pegasus begin the preliminary talks, Pegasus revealing
that the "Unknown" award card is the release of the souls that he
has captured (Yugi's Grandfather, Seto and Mokuba). Yugi hands
over the two award cards as his choices, and the game begins with
the Big Five looking on.
Yugi starts with placing a card, and playing "Ruiz"
(4/1200/1500). Pegasus places a card, then plays "Bow-Drawing
Mermaid" (1400/1500). Pegasus has read Yugi's next move.
On his turn, Yugi reveals his placed card, "Unicorn's Horn",
increasing Ruzi's attack by 700 (Attack 1900). Yugi then
attacks.
Pegasus reveals his placed card, "Mermaid's Tear", encasing Ruiz
in a bubble and negating the Unicorn Horn. The Mermaid
retaliates, and destroys Ruiz (Y's LP: 1800). Yugi ends his turn
by playing a "Rock Soldier" (6/1300/2000) in Defense Mode.
Pegasus places a card, then plays "Dragon Egger" (6/2200/2600)
and ends his turn.
Yugi draws "Demon Summon" (7/2500/1200), and feels that Pegasus
is reading his mind. Yugi plays Demon Summon in Defense Mode,
then places "Hexagram Curse".
Pegasus places "Trap Reversal", and changes his Egger to Attack
Mode, and attacks the Demon Summon. Yugi activates his "Curse",
reducing Egger's attack by 700 (Attack 1500). Pegasus acts
concerned.
On Yugi's turn, he attacks the Egger, and Pegasus activates his
Reverse Trap, sending the Curse on the Demon Summon (Attack 1800)
instead. The Egger slays the Demon Summon (Y's LP: 1400).
Pegasus plays "Toon World". The Egger destroys Yugi's Rock
Soldier, then vanishes into the book.
Battle 127: Impossible Challenge!!
Pegasus puts his Mermaid into attack mode, and ends his turn.
Yugi plays an "Elven Swordsman" (6/1400/1200). He attacks the
Mermaid, but the toon arms of the shell grabs the Swordsman's
sword, pushes him off, them slays him with an arrow. (Y's LP:
1400). The Mermaid then vanishes into the book.
Pegasus places two cards and ends his turn.
Yugi plays an "Imp" (5/1300/1000) in Defense mode, and Pegasus
reveals one of his placed cards "Gorgon's Eye", a permanent Trap
card. Whenever Yugi's monsters is placed in Defense mode, it is
turned to stone. If a stone monster is destroyed, half of its
Defense is reduced from its player's LP.
Pegasus then activates his second placed card, "Copy Cat" and
copies the Demon Summon to turn into "Toon Demon" (Attack 2500).
It attacks and destroys the stone Imp (Y's LP: 900). It then
disappears back into the book.
Yugi draws the Black Magician, while Pegasus reads it, then he
plays "Magic Silk Hat", hiding the Magician. Pegasus tells Yugi
that he knows which hat the Magician is, and attacks it.
However, when the smoke clears, the Magician is not in the hat.
The normal Yugi has taken over. Pegasus can only read one mind
at a time.
Battle 128: Toon World Attacks!!
The normal Yugi draws a card, places it, then changes. Pegasus
tries to read his mind, but finds that he can't, since even the
changed Yugi doesn't even know what it is. This is a
counterattack to the "Mind Scan", called "Mind Shuffle".
Pegasus attacks another Silk Hat, but finds that the Magician
isn't in there either.
The normal Yugi draws a card, "Magic Effect Arrow", places it,
then changes. The changed Yugi wonders what the two places cards
in front of him are. Pegasus draws and plays "Magic Effect
Erasure", removing the effect of the Silk Hat, and revealing the
Magician. Pegasus then attacks. The normal Yugi takes over,
reveals the Effect Arrow, sending the Erasure back at Pegasus'
Toon World. Pegasus says that it's too late to stop the attack,
but then Yugi activates the next card "Mirror Force", sending the
attack back at all of Pegasus' monsters, destroying them all (P's
LP: 800).
Battle 129: Sacrifice to the Death!
Pegasus applauds Yugi for doing well, but the "Game of Darkness"
begins. He explains that he got the idea for Magic and Wizards,
from a game that existed in Egypt.
Pegasus plays "Dark Eyes Illusionist (4/0/0). In the game of
Darkness, the damage done to a player is felt, and the loser
sacrifices his life.
Yugi plays "Curse of Dragon", ends his turn, then changes back to
normal Yugi. However, the essence of the Game of Darkness is
beginning to affect him. Yugi attacks, but the Illusionist uses
"Dark Eyes Magic", halting the attack.
Pegasus plays another monster, then plays "Illusion Ritual",
sacrificing his monsters to summon "Sacrifice" (0/0). It sucks
the Curse of Dragon into its body.
Yugi attacks with the Black Magician, but Pegasus uses Sacrifice
Shield, putting the absorbed Curse of Dragon out (2000/1500). It
is destroyed, but the damage is done to Yugi instead (Y's LP:
400).
Pegasus uses Dark Eyes Magic, and sucks the Magician into its
body (2500/1200).
Yugi changes to normal Yugi and draws a card. He places a card,
then plays a "Gremlin" in Defense mode. Pegasus attacks, and
destroys the Gremlin. The Game of Darkness has taken its toll on
the normal Yugi, and he falls unconscious.
Battle 130: Battle of the Heart!
The changed Yugi takes over. Yugi draws "Wall Guardian Dragon"
(5/1400/1200) in Defense mode.
Sacrifice sucks the Dragon into its body (3900/3300). Pegasus
then plays "Time Bomb". After two turns it will explode, all
monsters are destroyed, and will do damage to its owner equal to
its Attack.
It is Yugi's final turn when he draws a card. Pegasus tries to
read his mind, but finds Yugi's friends in front of the card,
holding the normal Yugi ("This is Yugi's mind... Get the hell
out, asshole!" Jounouchi says).
Yugi plays "Magic Box of Death", exchanging the positions of the
"Time Bomb" and the Black Magician. Yugi regains control of the
Magician. He then plays "Brain Control", and gains control of
Sacrifice. He sacrifices the Time Bomb and Dragon to the "Chaos
Black Magic Ritual", and turns the Black Magician into "Magician
of Black Chaos" (2800/2600).
Battle 131: Mixed Attack!!
Yugi places a card, then finally plays "Kuribo" (2/300/200).
Pegasus regains control of Sacrifice. Pegasus plays "Thousand
Eyed God", and plays "Fusion" on it with Sacrifice to fuse
Sacrifice into "Thousand Eyes Sacrifice"
The eyes of Sacrifice open and contain both Black Chaos and
Kuribo and attempt to suck them both into its body. Yugi
activates his placed card, "Multiply", and the Kuribos multiply,
all being sucked into Sacrifice's body instead of Black Chaos.
Yugi also says that Kuribo can explode (Y's LP: 100), removing it
from play. Then Yugi destroys Sacrifice with Black Chaos.
Battle 132: The Sad Millennium Eye
Yugi wins, and Pegasus keeps his promise and releases the three
souls that he has held captive. Yugi wants to know where Pegasus
got the Millennium Eye. Pegasus pulls out a card of a you girl
that matches the picture of the girl in the dining room.
Cyndia was a girl that he had met when he was younger, and became
his lover. However, she died when Pegasus was seventeen. Lost
in despair, Pegasus traveled the world, ending up in Cairo.
There he saw a man, carrying the Millennium Ring, being pursued
by three others. Pegasus offered to pay the pursuers money to
forgive the man for whatever he did. Shaadii appears, and then
all take him away. Pegasus follows.
He follows them to a crypt, where he sees Shaadii put the
Millennium Ring around the man's neck, and is promptly burned
alive. Pegasus also sees several items on a crypt.
Pegasus is then found, and then Shaadii uses his Millennium Ahnk
to see into Pegasus' heart to see his wish to see Cyndia again.
The men cut out Pegasus' left eye, and replace it with the
Millennium Eye. And Pegasus saw Cyndia again.
Battle 133: The Most Important Piece
Yugi contemplates Pegasus' story of the Millennium Items, while
the rest of the group takes care of Mokuba. Mokuba wakes up and
is shocked, but Yugi tells him that his brother came out of his
coma, and is on the island.
In the dungeon, Seto is freed, and sees a younger version of
himself, bidding him to follow.
Mr. Crockets brings the award money and Seto's cards to Yugi. He
asks Yugi to forgive Pegasus for whatever he has done. Pegasus
wanted to create a better Solid Vision system so that he could
meet Cyndia again with the card that he made.
Outside of the castle, Mokuba finally sees his brother again.
Inside of the castle, the changed Bakura has gouged out Pegasus'
Millennium Eye and taken it ("You can have this replica," he
says").
Seto thanks Yugi in his own way for saving Mokuba, but tells him
that the battle between him and the Other Yugi isn't over yet.
Seto and Mokuba are about to leave in a helicopter when Mokuba
asks his brother to Yugi and the group with them.
Just as they are leaving, Jounouchi sees Mai and she asks to be
taken along. Jounouchi kicks a rope ladder out to him, and
almost falls out.
END OF THE DUELIST KINGDOM
