Looking to be one of the hottest games of 1998, and one of the best PlayStation games ever, Metal Gear Solid is heading our way soon. Some of you older gamers may remember the original Metal Gear games back on the old NES. The graphics are astounding and will make you pick your jaw up off the floor when you see the pics, but the truly amazing feature of the game is the A.I. (artificial intellegence). Your enemies look for you, they don't just stand around and wait for you to enter an area. If one guard knows he can't face you alone and win, he will call for backup. The areas are so complex that you wonder how the PlayStation, which critics are saying is old news, can handle it. This game really differs from other games in the way you must successfuly complete your missions, you must use stealth instead of brute force. Not to say this game is devoid of any action, as you can tell from some of the screen shots, there will be a whole lot of explosions and gunfire going on. Metal Gear Solid is sure to renew everyone's faith in the future of the PlayStation.
