I used to fly a Messerschmitt Bf109K-4, F4u-4 Corsair
or a B25H Mitchell, (the plane in the background of this page), in a World
War II Flight Simulator called Warbirds. Warbirds is a real-time interactive
flight sim. I got hooked and my Visa Card hasn't been the same since =).
I used to have the handle -raxx-.
Visit the RNZAF Sky Rats Squadron Homepage. for more info on who we are, when we fly and what we do. Warbirds cost's US$2/hour so the squadron only flies twice a week, Sundays and sporadically on Wednesday nights, (although the Wednesday night training has dropped off from lack of attendence).
You could visit Peter Tyson's homepage if it existed anymore. Peter went back to study full time and couldn't afford Warbirds or an internet connection at wave.co anymore.
I have several picture galleries containing shots of the squadron and a bizzare page. When I can, I grab the details of the squadron and it's pilot scores. Scores for the RNZAF Sky Rats
Other Squadron pilots who have put together pages.....
Mark Glassborow Glars is the (un)official cartographer for the squadron. He has created maps for the squadron which can be placed in the keyhelp for Warbirds v2.0. Glars has also working in concert with Bob Heffner to produce paper maps of the airfields in .pdf format.
Kerf
(laika in WBv2) is another one of the RNZAF Squadies and his goal in
life is to master the Bf109 in all it's variations.

Probably the greatest pages on the web relating to Warbirds Maps and Keyboard overlays have been created by Bob Heffner. Bob created a new customised keyboard layout for my Compaq PC. Visit Bob's pages of overlays and check out the other flight sims he has put a ton of effort into. |
